Clean and unmemorable
The front entry has been updated and has a nice feel. The rest of the hotel could be updated but as a whole is still very adequate. We choose a room w a sleeper because there we 3 of us. The 2nd and 3rd night we had to ask for sheets. The 2nd night they brought them up and the 3rd night, though we left the sleeper out, was again without sheets when we returned to the room. The Front desk was friendly and nice. I think the cleaning crew needs attention to detail. The surrounding area is very industrial. We choose to stay close to the airport but would look for a more residential stay next time. If you're coming for work in this area than it's a solid choice.

Great value but note the distance
Our activities were not in downtown Chicago but were on the northeast side of O' Hare airport. But from this location, we still needed to account for the drive time during peak traffic. Using the GPS to check the congestion and avoid the E-ways was the trick to getting somewhere on time.

Convenient Location in the Area
I had a business trip in Chicago and the company I was visiting is next a couple minutes away from the hotel. My expectation on Courtyard Hotel is higher than this one. The hotel is kind of old. The internet access is slow and Wifi is very bad in my room. When I needed a hair dryer, there is none in the room. I hope this hotel can improve its service to meet the standard of Marriott.

Christy's Pancake House, which is a place the hotel recommends, its fantastic. The menu has everything, even stuff for kids, and its a great value and has terrific food. I will go out of my way to go there again.

Trip to Chicago
Everything was perfect from reservation to check-in, Room 101 was clean, but bathroom shower area was badly in need of maintainence, vanities had bunch of old smoke marks on it. I have never stayed at any courtyard like this. Staff was courteous, but I felt they were short handed. I stood in breakfast line to place order, that lady walked away from the counter and didn't show up for 5 minutes, upon check out at 4:00 AM, nobody was at the front desk. Other than that, hotel was perfect in everyway.

Good business location
The hotel is close to the business I was visiting. The hotel was clean and the staff were very helpful. I would stay there again. I did not have car, therefore, dining selection was limited.

Could have been a lot better!
The thing that sucked the most was that they were renovating and did not stay anything until we got there. You could smell paint and there were some issues but the room had GREAT beds and pillows. I have NEVER seen a hotel like the Marriott without a microwave and small frig. They did not have a shuttle to the airport. I was very disappointed in the hotel.
