Courtyard by Marriott Chicago Wood Dale/Itasca

Everything was perfect from reservation to check-in, Room 101 was clean, but bathroom shower area was badly in need of maintainence, vanities had bunch of old smoke marks on it. I have never stayed at any courtyard like this. Staff was courteous, but I felt they were short handed. I stood in breakfast line to place order, that lady walked away from the counter and didn't show up for 5 minutes, upon check out at 4:00 AM, nobody was at the front desk. Other than that, hotel was perfect in everyway.

I needed some thing closer to downtown chicago at an affordable price, this was a good match

The hotel is close to the business I was visiting. The hotel was clean and the staff were very helpful. I would stay there again. I did not have car, therefore, dining selection was limited.

The thing that sucked the most was that they were renovating and did not stay anything until we got there. You could smell paint and there were some issues but the room had GREAT beds and pillows. I have NEVER seen a hotel like the Marriott without a microwave and small frig. They did not have a shuttle to the airport. I was very disappointed in the hotel.

the hotel is ok. but when we arrived at mid night, we cann't find the entrance to front desk!!! we drove around the building several times and had to ask a passenger. finally we found there is only one small one-side sign. what a stupid! they have the free breakfast, but not for us who booked the room via [...]. we feel very bad.

I had a mixed experience during my stay of two nights. Firstly, the room did not match the description of my reservation [...] but the person at the desk was kind enough to shift me to a suite to make up for it. The next day when I returned to my room the basin was on the floor due to some housekeeping malfunction and I was told that I would have to shift to another room at midnight. Otherwise, the rooms are comfortable and clean.

The hotel is very close to O'Hare but sort of out of the way in an industrial area of town. There isn't much nearby to eat except some fast food places. Everything else is a bit of a drive. It was convenient though since it's between the burbs and the city and I needed to visit both while I was out there.

I'm so glad you asked. We arrived on Friday night late at 2 am (Saturday) and [...]at the front desk was extremely rude and unprofessional. We were expecting to find a two room suite which we saw on [...]instead we were given two double beds in one room. I then asked for 4 keys only 2 were given at first. When I asked for a manager. None were on duty due to the Memorial Day weekend. I asked her to have one call me. Haven't heard back yet. I paid over $100 per night for 3 nights and we were very disappointed with the service and room. I would not recommend this hotel to any of my friends and family. My daughter works for a high end hotel in Sedona AZ. She was shocked at the service we received. We checked out at 2 am last night and was given a bill under our door. I then called Jackie and mentioned that this was prepaid. She asked for the folio # which I gave. She had someone else pick it up and it was at the rate of $69 per night. Why was I being charged over $100? She then told me it was mistakenly put under my door, it was for the person next door even though our name and credit card was printed on it. I need some answers. Also, my husband was given a hard time by the Hertz when we arrived at midnight to pick up the car. This was a horrible experience!
