The Super 8 Waukegan provides the best value in town by offering clean, quiet rooms, at a very reasonable rate, and friendly staff. We are near Great Lakes Naval Training Center, Six Flags Theme Park, Genesee Theater in Waukegan, Gurnee Mills Shopping Mall and Zion Cancer Treatment Center. You get what you pay for

I needed a place to stay for a few nights that was close to the Navy Recruit Center because i was going for a Bootcamp graduation. It was extremely inexpensive for 3 nights, at under $150, but it was honestly the smallest room. Didn't have a closet, seemed very worn in, but it is what i expected. It was a cheap quiet stay, for a quick visit.

Great Naval Graduation Trip!!

Despite all the negative reviews that I read on this hotel, I really enjoyed my stay. It was nothing like the reviews that I read. It was quite, clean and the staff was great and very helpful. I would stay there again if I need to return to Waukegan, IL.

I COULD NOT STAY THERE UNDER SUCH DEPLORABLE CONDITIONS,CHECKED RIGHT OUT, ASK FOR A REFUND,DROVE BACK TO DETROIT,MISSED KIDS LAST GAME WHERE HUNDERDS OF COLLEGE BASKETBALL COACHES SCOUTING MY DAUGHTER,(TOP 50 IN THE COUNTRY)WERE IN ATTENDANCE.....

Nightmare

Room was so nasty that we would have walked around the room without our shoe on. We did not stay. We went to see my oldest son graduate from the Navy! Was a very important trip and that made it awful we called and cancelled the reservation after seeing our daughter in laws room.

Low rates but not very clean.

The rooms and bathroom were not very clean. We found garbage around the room and bathroom from previous guests. Lots of noise from the hallway and parking lot until 3am.

this is a good motel if all you are looking for is a quiet comfirtable place to stay. simple but clean and cheap

Fairly disappointed

It was dirty, and floors and walls were stained. The remote for the t.v. was broken and taped together. I called for a new one and it appeared to have been dipped in a sticky marinade. I got in late one night to ask for a wake up call and the lady at the desk kept telling me there was no room and didn't seem willing to listen to me when I said I needed a wake up call and that I had a room. The water pressure was that of a mall drinking fountain.
