The Ramada Waukegan Gurnee is conveniently located in Waukegan IL, just 4 miles off I-94. The Ramada Waukegan is a Six Flags Great America/Hurricane Harbor Preferred Hotel offering packages to the park and discounted tickets. The hotel is located in a north Chicago suburb, near the Great Lakes Naval Training Command and is also a Preferred Hotel with transportation every Friday for Graduation offering special rates for Navy families. Great Experience

From the moment we entered registration, we felt welcomed as if a friend or relative were awaiting our arrival. We were in a clean comfortable room where we could finally relax after our long day of delays at the airport and the stress of the trip. Our whole stay was pleasant and enjoyable and met all of our needs and more. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good value.

Very Happy with my choice in hotel. out of all that i veiwed on line, this hotel exceded my hopes!!! that being my first time in that area!!!!!

Not so good

We were not happy to find mouse droppings under our pillow and then we saw the mouse run across our bed. Also the whirlpool had bacteria floating at the top and we saw a dead bird lying outside the window of the entrance to the pool. Our hotel room also had a very unpleasant smell. I believe we will get a refund but that's about it.

Ramada

It was good, great customer service and had fun at the ridge club Saturday night located next to the hotel. I loved the pool .

Navy Graduation

We had a good stay here.The staff was great from check in to check out.The family meet and greet party was great,I would encourage you to attend.The breakfast buffet was good and restaurant has good food and large portions. The rooms are alittle out dated, but are clean and fine for time you spend there.

Rates too high for outdated hotel

We were there for a Navy Graduation so the location was good for that. The price was high for the room size and the rooms were tiny and not too clean. Nice to have a restaurant and lounge, the food wasnt very good and the staff didnt seem to care about service.DON'T order the spinach artichoke dip, horrible. The front desk was the best part of the hotel, they were polite and helpful.

quick getaway

staff was very friendly and helpful and always smiling. the breakfast was plentiful and very good. easy directions to where we needed to go (park and mall).
