Great place for a weekend stay
Staff is nice and friendly and the owner is a wonderful man that is outgoing and easy to talk to. The room was clean and very comfortable to sleep in and there wasnt any problems. Make sure you ask the main desk for anything you might need for your stay example iron, iron board, and eating utensils! overall good service.

Our first visit to Illinois
We booked our stay at Motel 6 in Waukegan Illinois through [...] recently. I thought it would be difficult as we never used their service nor have we ever traveled to Illinois. The experience was easy and comfortable. The motel was clean and easy to find. The people in Waukegan are very courteous and easy to talk with. Our visit was extended by one night and we had no problems adding it to our stay. We enjoyed our time with our daughter whom just graduated from the USNavy bootcamp in part to this easy detail. thank you Motel 6 [...]!

There are several Dunkin Donuts in Waukegan and the restaurants in the surroundinig area, less than 5 miles away from motel are actually family oriented and enjoyable.

Very friendly staff. We needed to book a room last minute. Fantastic price. The hotel was very clean and quiet despite being completely booked. Definitely a great value. Great restaurant next store. Very close to the Great Lakes Navy Base.

Looks real nice, but............
My sons and I primarily stayed at the motel after spending the day at Six Flags. We called out for pizza, and were delighted to have it delivered. The boys were not happy with the t.v. picture quality. At 1 a.m. and 5 or 6 a.m. our neighbor lady was swearing at her children "get to sleep, or wake up, you [*]!" She was terribly loud. Other than her, a small microwave or refrigerator would have been nice for the money we paid for this motel.

Navy Family
Just right for RTC grad families
It was nothing fancy, for sure, and needed some repairs here and there, but it was clean, the staff was very nice/helpful, and it was a good value. Our kids loved the pool, which was kept very clean and in good condition. Wireless in the room was nice, and 24 hour coffee in the lobby was a plus.

this trip was taken by my friend ,who asked me to set up her whole itinerary,for a trip to chicago,for the graduation of her daughter for great lakes naval station.and her response to me was that everything is great.hotel-6 was very close to the base and located in which she couldn't lose her way around town.she totally enjoyed her stay and is now finishing her trip with a weekend stay in chicago

Navy Mom
My sons graduation
Orbitz screwed up the reservation, but the Hotel did the best they could to give me what I had asked for. They cleaned the room everyday and were always friendly.
