So you are staying at the Executive Inn and Suites and you are wondering what exactly there is to do in the Chicago land area. Well there is plenty to do. The Executive Inn is located near a plethora of area attractions and points of interest. Stimulate your mind by visiting the Museum of Science and Industry or get a little culture at the Art Institute of Chicago. Gather the kids and take them to visit Brookfield Zoo or take a trip out to Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor in Gurnee, IL. You can purchase Six Flags tickets through us at a discounted price. Take your special someone to Navy Pier for a romantic night near the Chicago skyline. Round up a group to visit the Medieval Times for a day of food and entertainment. There is so much to do, we here at the Executive Inn and Suites have arranged a short list to help you plan out your stay. Great for Navy Graduation

Fantastic hotel! Very courteous staff! They heard we were checking in to go to my brother's navy graduation and they upgraded my room to a deluxe family suite with 3 queen beds!!! Very comfortable and CLEAN! Great pricing and really close to the base cant get any better! A+++++++++

Entertainment tip: Short drive from hotel

Visit Gurnee Mills its a great downtown area only 10-15 minutes away with lots of restaurants, malls, and movie theaters.

What was I thinking.

When I first reviewed staying and this hotel i thought it would be a great deal for the money. boy was i wrong right off the staff were really nice about getting me to my room. But as i walked to my room i noticed that the hallways were not air conditioned so i was wondering what was up with that the halls were actually hotter than it was outside and it wasnt too hot outside. Then when we entered the room it was even hotter with no air on at all. the room was fair at best i would not recommend this place to anyone not familiar to the area as the room didnt have any information of the surrounding area not even a phone book. The next morning my spouse and i were sleeping in because we arrived at the hotel late in the morning and all morning we were pestered by the maid wanting to bring fresh towels that were not needed and she kept beating on the door opening it to find the chain on the door and then leaving. then when we finally were up and ready to go she just opened the door again and threw the towels at us. Also the towels and linens were far from clean the hole time we were there.
