Son's Great Lakes' Graduation

I was so pleased. The hotel was clean and convenient. I was so glad I was only about 4 miles from the Great Lakes' facility, and the hotel had a shuttle that I used to go to the graduation. Not only was that convenient, but I also was near restaurants and didn't have any problems at meal times. Staff was helpful, and the facility had just been painted, or so it seemed. I was pleased when I arrived, The hotel was was much better looking than the pictures online. The only problem was a minor odor, like the room had been closed up for a while, but it went away in a short time. I would recommend this hotel to families for graduates, especially if you are traveling in a small group or alone. Thanks for everything!! Mike

Great for the price

everything we needed was in our room. the one and only thing that I did not like was the vent fan in the bathroom was rather loud. The price was right. there was plenty of room for our new Sailor to relax and enjoy a long waited "home cooked meal" We would definitely stay again.

I HATED IT...

This hotel is affiliated w/ a chain of hotels which I have stayed at before & was very pleased so I figured it would be a great experience...NOT AT ALLL... The room was small, the kitchenette was smaller than the bathroom, which was dirty, the room was dirty PERIOD... It was that kind of dirt where one could tell that it wasn't cleaned well the FIRST time. I had to go to a local Walmart & purchase antibacterial wipes. DON'T STAY HERE.... The staff was nice but that's it.

Crossland Chicago-North Chicago

Nice location-close to our friends in North Chicago-for some reason everytime we sign up as two guest-we almost-always get one, small twin bed-we're men-we don't want to sleep together-if you book this place and you need more that 1 bed please ask for it in advance-this is my only fault with this Crossland-rooms are small-check that all the kitchen utilities are there-two of everything: Plates-cups-forks-knives etc... except for 1 pot and 1 skillet.

Affordable Room and Friendly Staff

I was somewhat afraid to come here judging on the appearance. But, it looked better once we arrived, the staff was friendly and the room was better than I expected.

Cheap Hotel for a Cheap Price

This room was very small. You can spread your arms and nearly touch wall-to-wall. The "work area" is a small (3'x3') table next to the TV. The "full kitchen" is a dorm-sized fridge, a microwave the size of a shoe box and a small 2 burner hot plate. The room seemed fairly new but needed a deep cleaning. The TV was an old 25" with a blurry picture and only a few channels. I was there 2 nights and the first was horrible as I was in a second floor room next to the stairs and there was noise from a group party upstairs until 4AM. I called the front desk several times, but nothing changed. The next day I was given a different room and offered a discount. The location of that room was much quiter. I didn't pay much for this room and basically got what I paid for. Next time I will spend a few dollars more and stay someplace else.
