I would only stay here again as a have to. It had a bed & shower, the necessities. Everything needed to be cleaned, disinfected, & aired out. There is a smoke smell but I think it is more the employees. I was not greeted, asked how my stay was or
offered anything by employees. I was handed a keycard after waiting several minutes for the lady to get off the phone, & asked to sign a paper & told to park farther back & enter the side door when in fact my room was only a few steps from the lobby. With a lot of cleaning & new staff it would be an alright place. The location is very good. Right off of interstate & not even a block from Tanger outlet mall.
I was in town for business. 3 day stay turned into a one night stay here instead of three.
hallways had a terrible nicotine odor to them. My room was dark and dingy looking, bathroom was filthy; lots of hair and dirt all over the floor. Room had
not been vacuumed in awhile.
The free continental breakfast is cereal and or a yogurt cup. I walked to McDonald's next door to have something to eat.
Free internet was a waste of time, again I went to McDonald's to read and send emails.
I went to another hotel located 30 minutes away for the remainder of my stay. Very disappointed with this location.
Multiple day stay for business. Room did not have a lounger as advertised. Desk area not very accommodating. Continental breakfast: 2 types of cereal, yogurt, toast, vending machine sweet roll, decaf or non decaf coffee. Not what I expected at
all. Good thing McDonald's is 100 yards away. Stayed on first floor, did not smell any of the nicotine that others have. Internet service sucks.
The bed was comfortable and clean. the bathroom was clean, but the water in shower turned ice cold every few minutes and then went back to hot again. The recliner in the room was really the only thing that looked dirty, but it was also a very
cheap one and felt like it had cardboard under the seat. I never did figure out how to recline. Coffee maker in the room looked dirty and I would not use that. coffee in the breakfast room was pretty good. Non-smoking room but the halls and the room to a lesser degree had a stale smokey odor.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short drive from hotel
a block or so behind the hotel is a big red barn with a buffet (good food and reasonable prices) and a large antique mall with many vendors. Also a Tangers outlet mall right behind the hotel.
