Great, except . . .
Service was great, rooms were clean, and breakfasts excellent. However, on a Sunday of a holiday weekend, they had only one person on staff. Thus, the shuttle service was unavailable. It was very hot and walking to nearby retail mall was uncomfortable. Neighboring motel had free shuttle service.

We were so exhausted by the time we arrived we were just happy to have a bed and a clean room! In haste, I left my Tempurpedic pillow behind and they will be mailing it to me. Friendly staff. It is tucked behind two restaurants, Olive Garden and Chilis so it was hard to find. I had to call and ask for directions.

Great location, service, food, room
Location was 1 block off main road and so was quiet and peaceful and safe. Easy to get to main roads and 1 -2 blocks to a variety of restaurants and convenience shopping such as Carson Pirie Scott, Kohls, Sears, Office Depot, Walgreens and 2 miles from the downtown antique shops.Located on the east side of St. Charles. (Other hotels were on the very busy Main Street. I was so glad I chose Country Inn and Suites.) The room was super, super fresh and clean......the whole place is super fresh and clean. The room also is detailed with special "designer-type" bed making and towel/washcloth folding. The free continental breakfast is great with fresh and delicious hot and cold food choices. The staff is super friendly, professional and attentive. I was traveling alone from Kansas City to visit a relative in a nearby Batavia nursing home. I stayed 3 nights. [...] (I did not use the pool, whirlpool or excercise room but all looked great and also super clean.) There were families and business people that stayed while I was there. Rooms were quiet and secure. I highly recommend!!!

BUSINESS Trip with Family
STAFF WAS EXTREMELY FRIENDLY AND ATTENTIVE. EXHAUST FAN IN BATHROOM WAS NOISY, AND RUGS WERE SOMEWHAT DIRTY EVEN BEFORE OUR INFANT DAUGHTER STARTING REMODELING THE ROOM WITH TOILET PAPER, TISSUES AND CUPS. DESPITE THIS, THE STAFF REMEDIED THE SITUATION QUICKLY, AND THIS HOTEL PROVIDED OUR FAMILY WITH A QUIET AND SAFE ENVIRONMENT SO CLOSE TO THE PHEASANT RUN RESORT, WHERE A SEMINAR THAT I WAS ATTENDING WAS BEING HELD. WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN WITHOUT HESITATION.

GO TO ST CHARLES AND GENEVA A COUPLE OF MILES AWAY FOR QUAINT SHOPS AND STROLLING, EATING. WE ALSO ENJOYED TWO CHINESE RESTAURANTS-SILVER LAKES RESTAURANT ON KIRK RD. AND LIN'S GARDEN ON E. MAIN. THERE IS NO RESTAURANT IN THE HOTEL, BUT MANY EATERIES ARE VERY CLOSE BY.
