More 'motel' than 'hotel'!
This is a very dated hotel. It smelled like damp carpet. The bathroom was not dirty but aged badly. The bed was fine but that was about it. Breakfast was the bare minimum that could be offered. I wont be back.

Best Western St,. Charles
This hotel needs help. It's looking quite dated and a remodel is in order. The draperies and bed covers were dark red and ornate. They really made the room feel very dark and stale. The coffee maker needed replacing as it took forever to make coffee. My room was not cleaned while I was there. I did not get any type of discount for this as the hotel said I had booked through [...].Suffice it to say: I will NOT be returning to this hotel.

Christmas traveler
Clean and Basic
This hotel was very basic and clean. . .the staff was lovely and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast. Although the rooms were small, they were great if you aren't going to spend much time there anyway. The bed was very comfortable.

Golf Addiction
Nice accommodations
We liked the price, breakfast, coffee and food at continental breakfast and parking. All our time was restful and enjoyable except the noise and loud fan that came on with light in bathroom. The room was a bit small for three and pictured photo of queen size beds, but it was fine overall. The tv was nice. We did not use coffee or microwave but was nice to have. The breakfasts were great!!

We came for Solheim Cup at Sugar Grove, Illinois. Through no fault of Best Western, but the fault of golf course location with only one road in and out for the event, it took us 1 to 2 hours due to traffic. That was most irritable, but it was ultimately fine because USA defeated Europe!!!

we had an issue with the air conditioner and the manager came right back to our room with us to check it out and he fixed it on the spot.

Best Western Inn of St. Charles
The location was very convenient to shopping and restaurants, however I was somewhat disappointed in the room size for the cost. Also, where the female staff was friendly and very helpful, the male clerk at the front desk was not. Very rude and short both in person and on the phone, I tried to avoid him at any cost. Overall, even though Orbitz did allow for a great deal for both hotel and car, the car was great and the hotel was a let down. Will not go back to this hotel again, and my trips to that area are frequent.
