very clean . very helpful staff for recreational suggestions. Helpful suggestions for Springfield historical sites. Conveniently located restaurant attached. Would stay there again.

The room was dirty, bug infested and horrible. They gave my room to someone else in the middle of the night while I was sleeping.

Would stay again. Good price for someone on a budget. I only ate at the attached restaurant once, but the food was good and the staff was very friendly. The only negative: I do not like anyone entering my room and had placed the "do not disturb" sign on the door, but on the last day of my stay someone had removed the sign and entered anyway.

We were in Springfield for National Gymnastics and to site see. The motel staff were very friendly and helpful. The dining was great attached to the motel. Great food and service. Even though there weren't microwaves or a fridge in all rooms, we will stay again when we're back in Springfield. The great staff made up for that! The motel stated they were working on that problem.

Decent hotel for the price. Exactly what was expected.

I reserved two rooms and I loved the way they was connected. Instead of being side by side they were long ways. It worked out great with a 16 month old and an active 9 year old. One of them was on the pool side which was very useful. The man at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The location was great also. We was right across from a super walmart and tons of restaurants to choose from. I would definitely go there again.

The motel personnel were helpful. The motel was comfortable although the air conditioner in my room was not working well. The fitness center did not open until 10:00 am which I though was inconvenient - we were about our day by then.

Bathroom was not clean. We wouldn't shower as the tub and its walls were mildewy. There was an empty "test tube" on the bathroom floor. I don't even want to know how it got there.

My girlfriend and I stayed at this Travelodge while visiting Springfield for the Illinois State Fair. The price for the room was very cheap, and that was the type of service that we received. Our room was very noisy due to the fact that it was right above the front desk, but that was not the big issue. The bed was horrendous. The mattress was so low to the ground, and felt like it was stuffed with hay. The sheets in the room were gross, and we had to ask for a new set due to a large streak of dried blood on the covers. The only reason that I did not give this place a 1 was because the price was very low, and the staff was fairly helpful, though they would not give us another room. When traveling on a budget, beware, this place isn't worth even a small amount of cash.
