Northfield Inn Suites and Conf. Ctr is conveniently located off I-55 at exit 100B/Sangamon Ave/ with plenty of free parking and Non-Smoking rooms. Convention space to seat up to 800 guests. We boast a free extended Contl Breakfast- fitness center- Indoor swimming pool- free wireless internet- microwave and refrigerators in all rooms. We are 8 minutes from all Lincolns sites including the Abraham Lincoln Museum and the Abraham Lincoln Capitol Airport. Many nearby restaurants and shopping. The Rail golf course located 6 mins away and Boulder Creek Fun Park Adjacent to hotel. Group rates avail.

Businesss Trip

This was one of the nicest and cleanest places I have stayed in. The room was huge and spotless. The staff was very helpful and polite. I would highly recommend this place and definitely stay there again.

We stayed here on 07/14/11. The hotel was nice. Fridge and microwave. Everything was pretty new. Didn't like the fact there were no windows that could be opened. The rooms smelled like stale air. Maybe the second floor rooms had windows. We were on the first floor. Breakfast wasn't bad. Unfortunately the hotel was full of children between 11 and 13 who were in Springfield for some sports tournament. They were running around in the hallways on the first and second floors, laughing loudly, yelling and slamming the doors to their rooms. I called the reception desk several times but they couldn't make them stop. I had to go out in the hallway several times and tell the children I will call the police on them so they finally cut out their ludicrous behavior at 11:30 pm. Very frustrating experience. I don't blame the hotel management. I couldn't believe the adults who were supposed to supervise this big group of children. How in the world could they let the kids behave like a bison herd?!

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

All restaurants close at 3 pm. I called the reception desk asking about several of the restaurants Downtown and they weren't really sure of the restaurants' hours. There was nothing online either. When we finally got frustrated, drove Downtown and walked around, we saw that everything but Cold Stone and Subway had closed at 3 pm. And they are all closed on Sunday.

Great hotel

STaff was friendly, hotel was quiet, beds were great. We were so pleasantly suprised. Great for the price.

Great location great stay.

It takes about 5 minutes in the car to get to downtown Springfield. Nice pool, very clean, nice continental breakfast included which had cereal and waffles. Nice lobby with reading area, fireplace, and a section with a television.

Good Value Hotel

This is definitely a budget hotel, but it is fairly new, very clean, well maintained and the right price. The staff was friendly and courteous. I would stay here again because of the price.

Comfortable and Inviting

We had a late check in, but found the accommodations to be above standards. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and there was plenty to choose from at breakfast the next morning. My daughter thought the bed was so comfortable. We will stay there again.
