Microtel Inn and Suites by Wyndham Springfield

Keep coming back to this location each year for yearly meeting in Springfield. Cost is right. Easy to get to location. eating places very close by and are open late at night for late checkins.Easy for me to get to conference location on time the next morning.

This was reasonable, nice and close to the fairgrounds.

Hotel is friendly and easy to find. Appears clean on the outside. Carpets on third floor and elevator need vacuuming. There was only cold water for my shower on the morning of the ninth. Manager stated that he could offer no reduction in cost, that I needed to contact you, which I am via this response. I expect AT LEAST a $20 refund. John

We got at the hotel at midnight. Was given a room right away. The comforter had dried blood and mucus underneath. We complanied about it, was given a different room. The manager didn't apologize or offered to help us move to the new room. Whn we used the toilet the following day, it would'nt flush, and when their staff tried to fix it, water overflowed into the room. Some of our stuff got wet. We were an hour late for check out, and the manager had the nerve to scold us!!! He wasn't even apologetic about all the inconveniece wevwent through! Never again!!!!

I chose this motel because this was where my ride was staying and it was easier to get to the convention venue (the purpose of the trip) if we were all staying at the same place. No big complaints--comfortable, clean, quiet etc. but the TV channel choices were nothing to write home about. Fox "News" but not MSNBC and when I went down to the lobby, Fox was on the TV. We were there for a labor union convention !

Service was just awful! I went to the front desk to ask for change, she threw it on the counter. Had to deal with the same person again, and she did the same with the hotel receipt. Spoke to the manger and she confirmed that she is a problem, but did nothing. I have never had such awful service. Maybe it has to do with me being of Hispanic decent, but your in a Service oriented business, get another job where you don't have to deal with people. Will never stay at a Microtel again!

The staff was very attentive and were eager to help us check in and get settled. The room was a little small, but we didn't spend too much time there since we stayed on a business trip. The location was perfect, very close to the highway and downtown Springfield. We had plenty of restaurant choices close by and they provided a nice spread for breakfast each morning. If passing though again, I would definitely stay there again!

The room was small but we were there only to sleep as my son and daughter in law lives in Springfield so we were spending time with him. The indoor pool was extremely small for my teenager fortunally he was the only one in it. Would be great for small children as deep end was only 3 feet. The hotel states except pets however it doesn't state that it is pets under 25lbs. We were traveling with Rotwielder & Dodermann. The hotel was great to make an exception and allow our dogs to stay with us. Wasn't sure what we would have done if they didn't let us keep the dogs there.
