Baymont Inn and Suites Springfield

When we checked in to the hotel the staff was friendly. We received our room number, and cards. My daughter asked the clerk," what was the times for the pool?" and the clerk, stated "the pool is broken", my daughter stated "oh no". The clerk stated "we ordered the parts and they should be arriving in about 2 day's, but we have already talked to another hotel, and you can use their pool if you wish". My daughter was so excitied that they had a back up plan. When we arrived back from shopping, my daughter asked" if the pool was working? They stated yes. Great job Baymont!!!!!

This hotel is right off of I-55 on the south side of Springfield about 10 minutes from downtown. Rooms have small bathrooms with the sink in the main room. Beds were very comfortable and everything in the hotel was very clean. The free breakfast is typical - waffles, biscuits & gravy, fruit, cereal, bagels. The pool is okay. The whirlpool was warm, but not as warm as it should be. The staff was very friendly. A good deal for the price.

Just a very pleasent stay at a top notch hotel. Best complimentary Breatkfast we ever Had. Our room was on the first floor by the lobby, got a parking spot right by front door. Can't get much better than that. Hotel was just blocks from where we was attending our show.

This location is on the outskirts of springfield which, for us, is perfect since we're visiting people in a neighboring town. We've become accustomed to something being out of order when we visit, usually it's the jaccuzzi, but this time it was the equipment in the exercise room. Normally we like to stay somewhere nicer, but since we were staying for a longer time than usual we needed to go cheaper and I guess you just have to accept that you get what you pay for. It's not awful but you will not be impressed either.

The staff was friendly and the room clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. It met our needs, but there were a few issues. The minifridge needed defrosting. There wasn't room to put anything into the freezer portion. The Jacuzzi was comfortable, but could have used some operating instructions. We didn't know that it was on a timer and that every time we punched the button it was reset. We couldn't get it to shut off. The breakfast was alright, but would have liked to have seen more hot foods - maybe scrambled eggs.

This is a nice, clean hotel with easy access from expressways. Close to restaurants and shopping. One note: The hotel states that it is 25 minutes to Lenz field in Jacksonville. This is why I chose this hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel was over 45 minutes away with no traffic according to my GPS. This made our trip quite difficult and costly because of the several trips for baseball games during our stay.

Very impressed with the quality, service, amenities, and comfort. A bit disappointed in the toilet - did not flush very thoroughly, but we were on the third floor.

The hotel is fairly new and has eye appeal. Hotel Staff is very accommodating. We got a call upon reaching our room to see if we needed anything. The fitness center had a variety, treadmill, bicycle, eliptical and a weight machine. There was water and hand towels avalable to facilitate a complete workout. Indoor pool was spacious and clean. Room has fridge and microwave along with usual amenities. Continental breakfast has better than average variety. Easy on and off of expressway, but still quiet.
