Family time away
The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Did not agree with the 4 star rating. Room could have been cleaner, especially the bathroom. Pillows were hard and bed just wasn't very comfortable.

Hot Room
The room never did cool off, I turned the thermostat down as low as it would go (64) and it never did cool off. The outdoor pool is completely surrounded by brick walls on all four sides, felt like swimming in a prison.

Great Stay!
I have a bad back and hip and as soon as the the bellboy saw that he helped us immediately and even parked our car in the valet spot for free so it was easier to access! They helped us figure out the transit system and where to find a pharmacy. The beds were super comfortable and the room was very clean. I would definitely stay here again!

Short drive from hotel
The CTA was only 20 min away. You can park your car there for 14 hours for $5 and ride the train into downtown Chicago for $2.25 each way. That is a lot better than fighting traffic and paying for downtown parking!

Room 304 2/5-2/13/10
A place to forget your worries!
The staff were very pleasant and willing to take a step further without asking. Not once did I hear a, "I'm sorry" or my request was not possible. I was in the area to finalize my brother's estate. Thank you Hyatt for allowing me to forget my troubles and relax when I came "home". By the way, room service food was excellent and NOT pricey. Quite an unexpected pleasure for me! (The onion soup was heaven! Still a table to bring it on woukd be more comfortable especially with more than one person!)

Best hotel for the buck in Shaumburg
We always stay at the Hyatt in Schaumburg when we are visiting Chicago and never had a bad experience. This hotel is always very clean and has very friendly Staff! Great location with access to Woodfield mall, Nordstrom Rack, IKEA, DSW to name a few.

Great overnight stay
We've stay in this hotel just for one night, but everything was ok. The hotel is very nice and our room was great and clean. The bad was very comfortable. Our room had a shower instead of a tub in the bathroom, which was ok (we were expecting to have a tub, but it wasn't such a big deal). Overall everything was great. Next time we'll be in Chicago we'll stay in the same hotel.

Nice room, but small bathroom
Very nice place, but the bathroom was so small and didn't like the shower with the partial glass door. Everything else was great about the hotel and the room.
