The Westin O'Hare

No complaints but one - no water in the fitness center.

When I checked into my room I found some kind of white film on the cabinet tops that wasn't dust. The coffee maker in my room still had the old used coffee bag in it from whoever used it last. And to top off my stay, when I received my final billing for check out it had both my room charge and my misc. charges even though I pre-pay all of my hotel room charges through my travel agency. When I brought this down to the front desk I asked the bell man when the next shuttle van will depart. When he told me 5 minutes I told him that I needed to talk to the front desk and to make sure he lets me know so I don't miss it. I went to the front desk to try to figure it out and they were useless. I realize I should double check on the shuttle and of course it already left without me. So now I had an unresolved issue with my billing and I needed to hail a taxi in order to get to the airport. I told the front desk that I had to go. They said they'd resolve everything and I left my phone number should they have any questions nor to give me an update. Of course, staying true to form, no one called. When I got home I looked up my bank account online and still found the room charge amount being held but not only was the room charge there but two other charges so the combined amounts came to over $600.00! In misc charges! Must have been a good party. So I called the hotel, asked for the manager, and explained my circumstance. He promised it was all just "authorizations" and that all would fall off except for the $25.00 internet charge. That was on a Friday. So, guess what happened when I checked on Saturday. Yep. Everything EXCEPT the $25.00 internet charge went through my account! So now I have to wait until Monday and if anyone asks me about this hotel I will try to do everything in my power to make sure no one ever stays at this hotel again.

We arrived several hours ahead of the normal check in time, but the staff arranged for us to check in early, and enabled us to start enjoying our weekend in Chicago. We were very surprised as to how quiet the rooms are, being so very close to O'Hare Airport. And the great staff at the front desk were very helpful with nearby dining options, when asked. We toured Chicago and attended a Family Member's Wedding. Great restful weekend on the Heavenly Bed.

Friendly and professional staff, clean room, and very comfortable beds. The only thing I didn't like was the hotel charges $25 for parking.

The hotel itself is very nice. Check in took over 25 minutes. I was second in line and the person in front of me took well over 15 minutes. It was the clerk behind the counter. She took over 8 minutes for me and I was a prepaid. She also failed to provide the necessary card to get the "discount" on parking. Without it it is $30 a day. With the discount it is $25. Very expensive for a suburban hotel. [...]

Walking into the Hotel set the mood right away for the weekend. It was so clean, modern, and just absolutely perfect! The room itself clean and sleek. I am looking forward to staying there again!

clean room, nice bathroom and shower [lots of towels]. adjacent rooms doors are noisy, they are heavy and steel hard to get used to if your a light sleeper like me. neighbors noise didn,t bother my wife at all. pool and hot tub were nice, once again "tons of towels". resturaunt and room service prices kept us away. nice pizza place close by plus macdonalds 7-11, liquor store. neighborhood felt safe. airport shuttle very convienient. staff friendly, overall a very nice stay.

The staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered room service and the estimated time of delivery was perfect. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The food at this Hotel is amazing... ( not to many option, but they cook with excellence) when you stay at Westin you have a totally spa feeling! Loved and recommend!

Everything was fine. Shuttle to and from airport was on time. Pool and exercise room great and open nearly 24 hrs. Hotel shop was lovely and open with many hours with reasonable. Housekeeping was prompt and thorough. All employees were courteous.
