Conference quarters with meeting space and Starbucks

A multimillion dollar renovation elevates this O'Hare-area hotel to a new level of luxury. Connected to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, the 1,100-room Hyatt Regency sees a steady stream of executives, trade show attendees and visitors catching concerts at nearby Rosemont Theater or Allstate Arena. The space plays up its size with dramatic touches, like four copper towers, a massive atrium and 100,000 square feet of meeting space.

Rooms

Due to size, the Hyatt Regency O'Hare is able to offer multiple types of rooms--all soundproof--including standard kings, doubles, business plan doubles and business plan kings. In the business plan rooms, guests enjoy bonuses like one pressed shirt per day, breakfast, bottled water, desk and Internet access.

Smokers, meanwhile, don't have to take their cigarettes outside. The hotel provides designated smoking rooms, which are equipped with air filtration systems to eliminate odors. Surfaces are also treated in these rooms to reduce irritants.

On the opposite spectrum, guests with allergies can request hypo-allergenic rooms that use hypo-allergenic mattresses and pillow cases, air filtration systems and PURE products to minimize bacteria and allergens.

pretty nice weekend getaway

It was nice but there wasn't a pool or a spa. Also our room was in the back in a weird location. Room was a clean and comforable.

Business Travel

The hotel is close to the airport with plenty of transportation options. You are not close to downtown chicago but it is a very clean and modern hotel. Great rooms. Its great if you are coming in for business that is close to ohare.

Did not meet expectations

With a name like Hyatt, we were expecting a wonderful experience but were a bit disappointed to find living next to the cheap casino visitors next door.

Nice Weekend Stay

The room was very clean and spacious. Bathrooms were very clean and the hotel was very well maintained. Enjoyed my stay and was pleased with the hotel and staff.

Great location, Great service

Attended the PTXi Show, reserved the Hyatt Regency next door. Stayed two nights, from Hotel shuttle to front desk to check out and everything in between customer service was great. Will stay again.

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Subway station only two blocks away, $2.25 and 40 minutes to downtown Chicago. Cab would be 20 minutes but $40.

10th anniversary

Very nice and location was nice. 4 blocks from a bowling alley and irish pub and go pick from 18 movies to watch. That was nice also a free shuttle to the casino(we walked back) it was a very nice day and enjoyed the walk. The food at the hotel was expensive but good. would have been nice to have a fridge in the room. Parking is $22 a night :( room was very nice and clean. the bathroom is pretty small but we would stay again. The cab cost $10 each way to drive 5 min away.

CONVENTION LOCATION

I WAS THERE FOR A CONVENTION AND THE HOTEL STAFF MADE IT SEEM LIKE I WAS AT HOME. THE TABLE SERVICE WAS VERY GOOD FOR SUCH A LARGE CROWD, THEY ALSO DID A COUPLE OF BUSINESS RECEPTIONS WHILE I WAS THERE AND THEY DID A VERY NICE JOB OF THOSE ALSO.
