Knock on the door at 6:00a.m. with someone saying that the girl you were with last night wants to talk to you. Very inappropriate!

Not What you expect
Unfortunatly this is an older motel that has been used as full time living. Rooms smelled like someone died in them. The overall appearence was gloomy, uncleaned and old. People using the rooms as apartments were a major turn off as loud domestic conversations and dicipline to children was over heard in every hall. Not recommended for a family vacation rest stop.

disappointed traveler
the bad and really ugly
requested handicap room, non available some kind of white streaks on carpet, powder? dust/lint? soap residue? airconditioner did not cool room. Of three icemachines only one worked. Pool adequate. only three chairs poolside and two were broken, safety hazard? Towels and washcloths were dingy. Would not use on my face.

recovering from surgery
did not get what was on my confirmation
It was uncomfortable. we did not get what was listed on our hotel confirmation. The floors were filthy. The heater was so loud that you could hardly hear the t.v. and the remote did not even work. We paid only $51.00 but I guess you get what you pay for not what is advertised. I will never stay in that motel again. If we wouldn't have been staying from out of town so I could have surgery early in the morning, we would have checked out and went some where else.

Terrible, unhealthy and unclean rooms
TOTALLY EMBARRASSED [...]WHY PEOPLE WOULD THINK THAT WHEN A CARPET IS STAINED, FURNITURE LOOKS LIKE THEY WERE PICKED UP IN A GARBAGE DUMP, NO ONE SPOKE ENGLISH HARDLY, AND WHEN THE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST WAS PUT OUT, THE STAFF ATE FIRST, AND THE GUESTS GOT WHAT WAS LEFTOVER, AND THAT WAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I STAYED ONE NIGHT, AND HOPE THAT I DON'T GET SICK FROM THAT HOTEL. DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.

Not a 3-star as listed
Knew I was in trouble when I pulled into the parking lot. Run down exterior and the motel had businesses (hair salon, skin salon) actually occupying some of the first floor rooms. Also some of the rooms seemed to be occupied by renters. The beds were comfortable, but the carpet stains really made me wonder. Nowhere near the 3-star rating as advertised.

Cheap over-night rest stop
I only wanted an inexpensive sleep-over while on the road. The first room I checked into had a crying baby next door and the front desk found me a quiet room. The wi-fi worked great. I slept well. Bkft was fine...nothing special but I got my bagel, juice and coffee. I just didn't like the somewhat vagrant looking families that were renters, although I had no problems whatsoever. The room was clean and even updated. The bed was comfy. It was a good value for me...although if you're a 3-4* person you might not be happy here.

Lots of shopping...even a BIG Goodwill Thrift store across the street. Lots of fast food places within short drive.

It was very nice and clean.
We liked it. It was clean and nice and had clean sheets and a nice shower to arise too. I loved the uniqeness of the Lodge and the continental breakfast was very good. We'd stay again!
