Nightmare
Worse experience ever...1st Residence staff tried to charge my credit card upon arrival. I told him I had already paid ..showed my confirmation. Upon checkout I am charged $270.00 on my credit card and asked why they say I didnt stay and they can't find my reservation. I asked 2 speak with the manager and was given the run around. Finally manager tells me it's a No- Smoking fee. My husband nor I smoke and she refused to hear my point and said they werent going to take charges off. Who doesn't know the NO SMOKIN POLICY and to be charged for something we didnt do MAKES MY BLOOD BOIL. There's nothing I can do about it!!!!!!

Nice place to stay
The only problem was finding the place -no signage excell on building which is difficult to see because of the trees. Just local the other major extended stay hotels and there you are. Oh yes and if your taste runs to these several nudie girl joints nested between all the extended stay sites.....

Nice place to stay
This Residence Inn was very nice. Room size was great ( large ). Wifi was free. Breakfast was good. Location was good, close to lots of restaurants, also easy on/off the highway. Highly recommend.

Noise from other rooms.
We had a second floor room in a three story hotel. Not a problem usually. BUT I felt like I was in a cheaply built apartment complex as I could hear the people in the room above us walking around--or should I say STOMPING around? They were just walking, not making any unuusal movements but the cheap building materials became evident. Frutrating when when you're trying to sleep. It seems that the newer a hotel is, the more noise that bleeds from room to room.

A Great Place To Stay!
The Residence Inn in Rockford was one of the nicest finds in our recent travels. There is no restaurant in the hotel but they do offer a fee continental breakfast, but MANY local dining options are available! We had a great suite with lots of room for our 7 year old to play. The heated indoor pool and hot tub was an unexpected bonus! A great plus was the very friendly and very helpful staff. I would definately recommend this hotel!
