The room was nice and it was clean. The pool was warm, hot tub was not working. The staff was just friendly enough nothing special at all. It was high priced I thought they didn't say anything about hope your stay was nice here its a discount for next time come back and see its next time your in town. The location was wonderful any restaurant you could think of was within 5 minutes at the hotel.

There is a shuttle bus service that runs from this hotel to O'Hare airport in Chicago. The company also runs a line that goes to Midway (but doesn't stop at this hotel). Great deal to get in and out of town without renting an expensive rental car at the airport!

Definitely served what I needed!
Needed a place to stay while visiting family in Rockford. Very comfortable rooms and good service. Odered food one evening from the "Pub". Check out took a little longer than usual.

1 night stand just fine
Spacious and comfortable room with two queen beds. Nice flatscreen TV. Nice bathroom with real tile on shower walls. Bedding was very comfortable with multiple pillow choices labeled soft and firm. Quiet -- no noise from outside the room. Effective climate control. There were a lot of noisy children in the pool, but no big deal.

Good day/night
The hotel was great and the bed was superb! The message near the bed alerted me to the hazards of lying on the pillows and they were right. I went to sleep instantly. It would have been nice to have included eating utensils in the room. I had carry out from the night before! Overall, great experience and the staff was great!

All of the hotels are within a block of each other and there are many places to eat! My business companions went to my hotel for lunch to my surprise the first day. The salad bar includes soup and it was all within a reasonable price. The rolls were especially good, yum! Next time I will bring my swimsuit to enjoy the pool as well!

Good for a one night stay
This was a decent hotel. We only stayed for one night, and it was good for that. The beds weren't the most comfortable, but the room was a decent size and the bathroom was huge.

Bergstrom Trip
My stay at the Holiday Inn, Rockford was a business trip to Bergstrom Mfg. The Hoffman House resturant at the Hotel was very good, good service and friendly people. My stay was good and the staff was attentive during my late checkin.

Nice surprise -
Found the staff helpful and actually of a higher level than the rate would indicate - Actually called my room leaving a message after check to ensure all was fine in my room.

Great experience - highly recommended
The hotel was fabulous - clean, convenient, staff was very friendly, great amenities in room, internet worked fine - a first class experience. My only issue was the groups of young people who were allowed to lounge outside the front door - about 50 feet from my window - drinking beer and talking loudly from after 10 p.m. until almost 1 a.m. both nights. Would have been helpful if the staff had asked them to move.
