Shower didn't work, Outdated
The people were friendly, but the hotel was definitely not a 3 star-worthy place. Most of the water came out of the tub spout, not the shower head, and the tub filled with water and didn't drain. The room was fine, but outdated, as were the mattresses. The staff did not clean the coffeemaker or the ice bucket, and when I returned after my first day, the toilet seat was up...... maybe maintenance used it? I wouldn't recommend this one.

Cold Charge
I was a bit annoyed that when we entered the room (and the hallways were) it was freezing! I had an infant with me and a 6 year old. It would have been nice if someone would have taken the initiative to turn on the heat before we got there knowing that we had children with us. [...]

Last time.......
We've been going there for New Years Eve for the last 2 years. Apparently this year they are trying something new. We were surprised when at 8:00 PM an announcement was made stating that everyone who does not have a silver wrist band will be asked to leave the water park at 9:00! We purchased our room and water park passes and were never told that we would have to leave the water park at 9:00. Apparently they are trying something new this year and offering other activities for New Years Eve. Our children were told they had to get out of the lazy river and were not allowed in any more. The looks on my kids faces was something I won't soon forget. I was embarrassed and angered and I will never again stay at the Clock Tower Inn and will be going elsewhere for my New Years Eve family activities. Best Western, you have lost a customer...... Hopefully others will read this and look somewhere other than this hotel for their accommodations.

Money-saving tip:
In Hotel
It's unfortunate that you now have to ask how long your water passes are good for so you won't be kicked out and see the looks on your kids faces when you tell them that you have to leave.

Best Western Clock Tower Resort Rockford
The stay was alright. I killed a spider the first evening, an ant the second evening, and a roach. The breakfast was breakfast/food was expensive and not all that great. Overall I would not recommend this hotel to a friend. The website says the hotel has WiFi, and they do, but they do not provide bridges as their site says they will. I was able to get teh WiFi to work, but only because I had my own card, and it worked efficiantely. On the other hand bed was very comfortable.

Clock Tower Review
I came as a late check in (11 pm) for business. I didn't appreciate having to return to my car to put a parking pass on the dash. It's Rockford IL, not NYC and there was more than enough parking! So that left a bad taste in my mouth. The room was small and had the smallest double bed I've ever seen. And there was only a light blanket, no comforter. I won't be returning. There are too many other options at that exit.
