Good Value - nothing fancy
This hotel is clean, convenient, and easy. The cozy lobby is welcoming and the local shuttle is great. The breakfast is minimal, but quick. Staff is friendly but minimal and won't print you a zero balance receipt (only via email).

Chicago Birthday Holiday
Found hotel very comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful, polite and welcoming. The pool and whirlpool were excellent. Picked this hotel because on the review it said 'only minutes from downtown Chicago'. Unfortunately it is 50 minutes from downyown on the Metra. Might have booked somewhere else if we had realised how far from Chicago it was, however the free shuttle was useful from the hotel.

Solid Place
A little out of the way if you're visiting Chicago, but it's what you're paying for. Not over-advertised. It is exactly what it's advertised as...a Holiday Inn Lite. Same quality...a few less amenities (i.e. - no fridge/microwave in room, no security safe, etc.). Nothing really nearby to do; but again, if you're there to visit Chicago, it's a decent distance away without the traffic log-jam. A very solid place if you're looking to save a few bucks by staying farther away from the city. No complaints.

I know all the hype about Chicago is the deep dish, but if you've never had a Chicago-style hot dog, make it happen. You won't regret it!

one night trip
They let us check in early. It wasn't a busy time, so the hotel was pretty empty. We used the hot tub and the pool, had a great breakfast and we were close to restaurants and bars. Also not far from the cute highland park area.

Overall good exp
The hotel was good. Rooms were clean and most of the staff was good except for the lady at the breakfast bar. Breakfast was good first 2 days, on 3rd day the lady was rude and refused to provide milk and kept saying there was no milk. After arguing with her she finally got some out.

Great Relaxing Hotel!
Hotel is great, we loved it! Great customer service, great rooms, and good breakfast! the only thing we would've loved more is having places walking distance, but great overall experience! Would definitely return!

Super nice and convenient
The location was very convenient for me. I had a rental car and the front desk was really helpful in providing the directions and other help as required. O'hare airport is about 20-30 minutes drive, and Midway airport about an 1hr or more (37 miles), depending on traffic. Quiet area with nice, clean and big rooms. Major freeways/ restaurants/ convenient stores are close by within a short drive. Just Loved it ....

Excellent Stay
From the moment we arrived staffed was pleasant and answered any questions including recommending areas to go to. The room was clean and well equipped with everything to make us feel right at home for the weekend. The seperate living area made it feel much more comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was excellent with more choices than most hotels we've stayed at. However, the pancake machine did break the second morning we were there. You will need a car and plan to drive if you are staying here. There isn't anything within walking distance, However, you can find anything you are looking for - food, movies, shopping - within a short 5-10 minutes.
