Quincy City Center Hotel Quincy

The hotel is old and rundown. My room was right next to the pool. At 11pm another guest opened my room door with their key and walked in while I was sleeping. It was a bad experience.

This hotel was just alright. When you walk in, the lobby was cold! Like they didn't have much heat on which was not very welcoming coming in from 40 degree weather outside. The receptionist was very nice and welcoming :) The room was nice and spacious-had everything we needed. And the big glass sliding doors walking out to the lobby from our room was nice (1st floor). The pool left a little to be desired. It was supposed to be heated but it deifinitely was not and the hot tub was little more than a warm bathtub. And breakfast was disappointing. There was not a lot of selection. But it was a nice hotel with friendly people for a decent rate.

Our pirorty was to attend the funeral of my Mother. We had little time to go shopping or do anything else for that matter. I had no piror knowledge of the state of constrution that was taking place there. There were no restaunts open at this hotel. However there was a small breakfast bar that was nice. The pool area was quit cool when we returned from the funeral home at about 8-9 p.m Sunday. My adult chidren were in jackets and our grandchildren were very cold when out of the water. As I understand this construction has been going on for over 12 months. It did snow about 3-4 inches on Sunday. By 8:30 - 9 a.m. Monday morning the parking lot and drives had not been cleared, even when a truck and snowblade attached sat in the back lot covered with snow. This is one family (26 adults and children)that will not be back any time soon. I know the price was low but some items are nessary for the basic safty of the customers. It causes me to wonder what other safty measures were non-operational. Sorry, but I will pay a few extre dollars and stay else where, thank you.

we were in Quincy for a girls week-end away this hotel was easy to find, in a great location to shopping and had an awesome pool.

This hotel was good for the price, pool area could stand to be a little cleaner.

Very dirty, outdated, dingy sheets. The positive was friendly staff and clean updated bathrooms.

We booked this quick / last minute overnight stay in conjunction with a short employment training my boyfriend needed to attend. The hotel price was mid-line, and the preview photos were nice, but actually staying there was a let down. The pool and hot tub were pretty, but the pool was icy and the luke-warm hot tub smelled like mildew. I can't speak about the sauna as it was "out of order". In the room, we could find no hotel F.A.Q./welcome infomation for the hotel and while the staff was nice (trying to answer our questions), he seemed unknowledgeable about things like the pool hours, breakfast time, and/or nearby resources (food, shopping, etc.) Wireless internet was available, but connectivity was spotty and page loading times were slow at best. If all you want/need is a spacious room at a decent price, this might be a place for you...but, if you want a little fun and out-of-the room activity, you might be better off going somewhere else.

I would not recommend this hotel to any of my friends, because they would not want to stay in the dump. It smelled of mold and was being remodeled I guess. Carpet was in bad shape and the room just plain stunk. To bad I could not move my reservation. I will not stay in this place and will do a better job of calling my hotels before using the services on the computer.

the staff was very frienly and also helpfull.I would stay here agai and tell all my friends to stay there also.
