Reasonable but not Exceptional
The welcome cookies were nice. It's a decent hotel. The room decor is nice and comfortable, but the bed was way too firm for us. It was nice to have a fridge and microwave in the room, but we had no need for them. The pool wasy way too cold and the hot tub was too hot to enjoy. We missed breakfast because we slept in and it ended at 9:30am on a Sunday, so we had to go out for breakfast. I thought that was quite early for a Sunday, when you will have many leisure guests, rather than business guests.

Large room, nice TV, very comfortable bed and soft sheet - - like sleeping on a cloud! Breakfast was hot, but not delicious (premade eggs and what looked like microwave sausage, waffles were good tho). Pool area and hot tub were clean and uncrowded - over all very nice

Great value!
Nice hotel for a quick stay while attending a high school conference with our family. While we only used the hotel for overnight lodging, the staff was pleasant and accommodating, the room was clean and nicely appointed, and the breakfast buffet was above average.

unexpected and delightful with extras
i enjoyed my stay. the exercise room and indoor heated pools were wonderful. the expanded breakfast was better than expected.very clean well run and well trained staff.in the room comfort the only thing i did not like was the bed was harder than i like. others may find it just fine.

the Tilted Kilt is within walking distance and has a good menu with fair prices. eat there three times and the food was good each time.

Comfortable & Clean Room. Friendly & Attentive Staff. Problem with HVAC on 2nd Night; Promptly Moved to New Room. Nice Free Breakfast BUT "Hot" Foods Barely Warm & the Eggs Were Like Rubba, Not Butta!!

Very nice place to lodge. It had a pool, exercise room which were open 24 hours and gave morning breakfast.

Lovely room
Having to travel back home for a funeral is always stressful. Wingate took all the stress out of our accommodations while we were in Peoria. The rooms were beautiful, the beds comfortable, and the pillows so good (and plentiful) that I didn't need to use my pillows that I had brought! The breakfast ladies were so helpful and personable. They were quick to offer to prepare special requests. If there was anything that could have been improved, my husband could have used about 6 inches more room between the bed and other furniture for his wheelchair. That was a little tight. On the other hand, there were plenty of outlets at both sides of the bed for medical equipment, chargers, etc. And the roll-in shower was great.

Fine hospitality and family services
We were here for a weekend parties in several other locations. This was a great home base. We observed that young families and children always treated with real kindness and interest by staff.Not at all stodgy or formal. Hostess at the breakfast is outstanding.Lovely large room. Three machines and weights in fitness room. Posted guidelines for use would be helpful and some alertness to keep young children from trying them out.
