Great hotel. A remodeled Holiday Inn. 3 story cathedral ceiling. Looks like a big executive Suites. Lots of plants in the center. big very heated pool with dry sauna, Hot tub inop. they need to fix it and put it in operation. breakfast serviced in the center atrium.

Pretty good
Convinient location - right across the Northwoods Mall, just off the I-74, the in-built Pepper Tree Restaurant is also pretty good. Came back with my family here again.

Old Hidden Gem
It may not catch your eye as a Hilton or Marriott Suite does, but the inside amenities and over all cleanliness of the place is good (plus a continental breakfast). I'm just a traveling businessman who has seen the good bad and ugly. This is good...especially at the price they offer. I just suggest not getting a room by the fitness room...the guy on the tredmill sounded like he was running in my room.

Anniversary Getaway on a Budget
The Grand Hotel is an older hotel, so I can understand needing some upgrades here and there. Overall was a good experience. Room was clean, there was however, a sulfur or sewer smell when the heat was on? Not sure what that was all about, but not pleasant. There also was a place on the ceiling where there may have been recent water damage from the roof leaking or something...ceiling was kind of bubbly and not sure if it might come through. Breakfast buffet was done and over by the time we got downstairs and this was on a Saturday morning...nothing really in the rooms or posted anywhere of times or options. Also, I have seen better pillows in a hospital, next time I would remember to bring my own.

1st lady
Christmas Night
Hotel lobby was very nice. Our room was on the 1st floor. In remodeling the hotel and so many name changes, the doors had so many layers of paint. The room was old and the bed and the bathroom sink was for very low. I guess we have been spolied, thee hotel still have the old fashion televisions...I'm thinking that the hotels have the very old rooms for the price and Orbiz customers. We will not stay there again.
