Pleasant surprise!
The front desk was helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. Had to travel for a funeral and had no idea where the hotel was in relation to family I needed to visit. Location was great and easy to find.

No Way to Treat a Lady
The hotel was relatively clean, if a little worn. My disappointment came the morning of my interview when there was no working outlet in or near the lighted bathroom area to dry/style hair or apply makeup. The desk person was not helpful nor was the maintenance person. I had to ask for another room to finish getting ready for a very important day. Slightly unhappy is an understatement. No apologies from staff did not help.

Overall, it was a good stay. The room appeared to be clean which is my biggest concern when I stay at hotels. My only complaint would be that it was difficult to adjust the temperature. The room was either too hot or too cold most of the time.

Good for the Price
Hotel was really nice overall. Free breakfast was very good. On the negative side. The staff was not helpful or pleasant. Everytime I went up to ask for some information or even check-in they were not at the desk and had to sit around for 10 minutes until they came from the back and when they did were not friendly.

The Hofbrau Restaurant on Jefferson Street was the best German restaurant I have been to. Definitely worth the drive to go and have some amazing german food and great beer.

Never heard of this chain... very nice!
This was a last minute, unexpected trip/visit. Being a divorced dad, I had a change in weekend plans due to my daughter's activities at school. Therefore, I needed a nice clean hotel with two beds, complemetary breakfast and a pool.

Good clean hotel!! Fantastic Staff!!
We were in Illinois to see our son run at the Cross Country National Championship. I was kinda worried about the noise level at the hotel as there were four teams staying there. We had absolutely no problems!! Staff was fantastic!!

Last Stay at this hotel
Hotel is in a poor location on side road, easy to miss and have to come back around the main highway 1/2 mile or so. Poor resturants in immediate vicinity-non walkable. Asked for quiet room as was given 314 next to ice machine. Room actually vibrated when machine was charging. Room was not cleaned first night and was not happy with overall standard of cleaning. Hotel advertised as newly refurbished, perhaps in public areas but given condition of bathroom seems to be an exageration. Stayed in Peoria several times on business and would not use this hotel again. The room rate is cheap but as they say you get what you pay for.
