a former midwest girl
Great hotel
New Hotel, less than 1 yr old. Great north Peoria location with easy access to interstates. I was worried that it might be noisy because of main roads nearby, but it was quiet and peaceful(even with a group of softball players at the hotel). The staff was very nice, the room Huge and nicely appointed. The indoor pool is small but still very nice. Exercise room new with weights,treadmill,eliptical and tv. Breakfast was a nice assortment of hot and cold items. We will certainly stay here again

Shopping accross the street at Grand Praire. More choices of restaurants just down the street.

Nice Environment
The Grand Hotel Nanamio was comfortable for a short stay. Being able to walk out your door and take a short walk to the shoreline was a plus. The staff was courteous and helpful. The lack of a nice pool and fitness center would keep me from returning for more than a night.
