Baymont Inn and Suites Peoria

This was a very reasonably priced hotel, but even at that rate I would not stay there again. I would pay a few bucks more and stay somewhere where the staff is a little more on the ball and the path to the room is in better shape. The room itself was clean and OK for the price.

It's difficult to locate. The entrance is through a large mall parking lot. I thought that my GPS lady had lost her mind when she directed me into the mall, but sure enough, the hotel entrance was at the back of the parking lot.

Hotel staff was friendly and quick worked well as we were under time restrictions due to the concert we came into town for.

Baymont had upgraded us to a king room from a queen, the complimentary breakfast was wonderful, the room was a little small but perfect for my husband and I. Will stay here the next time I am in Peoria!

The first room we were assigned was left not completely cleaned and we had a late check in time. We went back to the desk and they gave us a different room. The second room appeared to be cleaned but there were no amenities in the room. We had fewer pillows than in the first room and the pillows were flat. The king bed rooms are very small. The one chair was against the heating/air conditioning unit, a fire hazard. We moved it across the room and had to sit on the bed to view the television. Thankfully, we didn't spend much time in the room. I guess we shouldn't complain the price was very cheap. I thought the Baymont was a hotel I had stayed at before that was in that same area but it wasn't. It is also very difficult to find the access road in the dark. You have to drive through the Mall parking lot to get to the road going back to the hotels If the Mall is closed there is very little light to see the access road.

spent a week in peoria on business traveling to multiple sites throughout the city. The hotel was in the most central location. The only negative would be the doors open directly to the outside as opposed to an internal hallway.

This hotel was reasonable priced and I loved the space. As a family traveling with 4 children, it was wonderful to have a room with 2 bathrooms and 4 beds.

Rooms are quite varied. First time my room was fantastic, second time it was dismal, and this time it was average. The AC is always noisy because the covers are loose. Location is great, staff is alright, and the breakfast is passable.

After checking in, I turned the air conditioning on in my room and left for a family get-together. Returned about 11:30PM to find a man in my room. As a woman travelling alone, this was very disconcerting to say the least. Fortunately there was someone at the front desk to help. I was told that the clerk who checked me in earlier had not entered me in the computer even after giving me a room # and key. The room was subsequently given to someone else. Then they wanted to put me in a room on the second floor, when I had originally requested a first floor room. This was resolved. Upon check out, I asked that the copy they had made of my credit card be returned to me, but was told that the law required them to keep it. That may be, but the clerk was rude and refused to return the copy. The other hotels I booked through Orbitz did not ask for a copy of my card. Hard to locate driveway. In the rear of Mall parking lot.

The room was nice enough, but there was no place to hang anything up. I haave never been in a room like this where there was not any place to hang up suits or coats, etc.
