Great convenient location

great for family
was a very comfortable room, very large with slider door.bath room was separate from vanity and sink.the location was great. everything was very clean and the employees were very kind. was close to zoo and mall.some very nice restaurants close by.

Fantastic Place
The Oakbrook Court Yard was very clean, comfortable, great location, just a wonderful place. I was able to go for walks as the business area location was extremely safe. The room only had one drawback and that was the TV was not easy to watch while on the bed. It was fine while watching on the couch. They had a great workout room and pool. We sat out on the balcony each morning. We were very close to all kinds of restaurants and shopping.

Amazing quiet nice hotel

Great weedend getaway!
This hotel was great. We came into town for a show and didn't want to drive home late at night. This hotel was extremely nice and the special weekend rate that we got was perfect in this tough economy. We felt like we were staying at an upscale hotel for the price of "Motel 6".

Great value!
We were in town for a wedding reception. The service at check-in was superb -- we were checked in and in our room in less than 10 minutes! Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the pool and courtyard. We would definitely stay here in the future and would recommend it to anyone.

Marriott Courtyard
The hotel was remodeled since my last visit - as per the national advertising. It was all that was shown on TV. The staff were very polite and helpful and the stay was great. The location was perfect for getting to major freeways in the area yet the area itself was secluded and quiet. Will stay there again!!!

Friendly but breakdown in communication of staff
The room was nice and fit our needs, however, the air-conditioner did not work and it got pretty stuffy before morning. We reported this to the morning staff (before 6:30 a.m.) as we were leaving, and told them it would be evening before we would be back. We got back around 9:30 p.m. and the air-conditioner had not been fixed. We called and they immediately sent up the maintanence person. He said it was not on his records that it was ever reported. (slip-up with staff). When he looked at the air-conditioner, the compressor was bad and would take an hour or two to get a new one installed. (This could have been done during the day while we were gone.) We had to move to another room (3 adults and one child). The night manager was very apologetic and helped us transport our luggage to another room and the maintanence person was very nice. The night manager told me to be sure and say something to the manager in the morning.

Short drive from hotel
We were fairly close to a train station that we took into Chicago to Union Station. That was much better than driving and trying to find a place to park. The next morning we did a little bit of shopping close by before we left.
