Aesthetically Pleasing View
The Hyatt has a great location in Oak Brook!! You are surrounded by delicious restaurants and shop til you drop mall. The Hyatt is aesthetically pleasing outside and in. The Lodge's waterfall, foliage, trails, and fireplace keep you happy in any kind of weather. Inside the Lodge there is creative artwork that makes you enjoy the walk to you room. If you are a fan of McDonald's you will love the McDonald's Campus. The rooms are in top shape; very clean, comfy and stylist.

Amazingly quiet and peaceful.
We chose this hotel for our girls getaway Chicago weekend because we wanted to avoid the congestion of the big city, yet still be close enough to enjoy the main attractions. We were amazed at how peacful it was both inside and out. The landscaping was very well thought-out and the walking paths extended all around the property, emcompassing a brook-fed lake, and then meandered into a nearby park. The beds were extremely comfortable and there was always plenty of hot water for the shower. Our only complaint was the $9.95 charge for wireless internet for each 24 hour period. That just seemed a bit ridiculous and greedy. Also, be aware that a standard double room does not have mini fridge or microwave.

A home Away From Home
The hotel was fabulous when I found it. I had an extremely hard time finding it(especially at night). Once I found it, the staff was friendly and I had no complaints at all.

Beautiful Hotel
Great hotel overall! The atomosphere of the hotel and its surroundings are very beautiful and peaceful! Very friendly and helpful staff. I would just suggest requesting a room that doesn't overlook the pool as it was a little noisy, but otherwise a great, clean place!

Hyatt Lodge McDonald's U
We had a quiet, peacefull evening, great room, confortable bed, quiet woods/pond location. It seemed like we were in Northern Wisconsin, vs middle of Chicago.

Okay but not the greatest
I was only at this hotel for a day trip so I have to be fair in my review. My first issue is the location. It sits in this wooded area and there is no sign that says "Hyatt". It was frustrating just trying to find it. No convenience stores or gas station anywhere near the hotel. It needs to be updated even though the hotel is clean the carpet is old and it gives an overall old feeling. The rooms were nice and they were clean. We stayed on the second floor and the walk to the fitness center/pool was so long my daughter and I thought we had gotten lost!!! Right now there is a lot of construction in the area so be prepared for that. There is also a mall nearby with upscale shopping and some nice restaurants. I probably will not seek this hotel out in the future. No microwave which I am used to after staying in the Residence Inn.

Shopping tip:
Short drive from hotel
Plan to pay for the valet parking at 12.00 a night the parking lot is nowhere near the main lobby or if you are a family drop the family off first with the luggage then go park the car!

Hyatt Mcdonalds Campus
This hotel is great!! I would recommend this to everyone that is headed out to the Chicago area. Its a bit of a trip from downtown, and the hotel is a little hard to locate, But WOW was it worth it. Excellent service, great staff, very clean rooms, a nice dining area/bar. My favorite part was the campus the hotel is located on, its beautiful, very nice for an evening walk. Wonderful flowers and beautiful ponds and waterfalls.

Great out of the way hotel
Hamburger University was an amazing hotel. It is a beautiful hotel at a very reasonable price. It is slightly out of the way of the main attractions for Chicago, but the beautiful grounds make it well worth the drive. I would definately recommend this hotel.

Excellent location and beautiful grounds
The Hyatt Lodge at McDonalds campus, Oak Brook, IL was a very pleasant place to stay. The room was very nice and comfortable and the grounds were just spectacular! Even though we stayed there during the middle of April we just had to walk around the grounds to enjoy the beauty of this wonderful complex. We were also pleasantly surprised to find a very large and wonderful pool and spa area at the hotel. We would stay at this hotel at any time that we would be in this area again in the future.

Short drive from hotel
The Oakbrook shopping center is just a short drive from the hotel. It has a great assortment of shops and some fine restaurants and is a must to visit when you are in this area.
