Baymont Inn, Aurora

The hotel manages average value for the money. During our stay, the elevator was boken, the toilet seat in our room was broken, and the included breakfast was minimal. Still, the staff was cooperative and pleasant,

I have stayed at this hotel several times. It is simple, but very enjoyable. The staff is very helpful and polite. Unlike a lot of other hotels, the pool is always warm, which is a huge plus with kids that love to go in the pool. The hotel is not on a main road, so it is always quiet. My family will continue to stay at this hotel whenever we are in the area.

Local value

The hotel is out of the way, but a good value if you are local, and need a place for a short time. Wait for on-line discounts.

baymont inn, n. aurora, il

Poorly marked entrance from main road, located on the other side of an abandoned building. When I arrived the elevator was out of service due to maintenance being done. I would rate this hotel in the same category as a motel 6, or similar. Very dated interior and rooms. Even though it was a value price for the chicago area, I feel that i paid too much. Old style tv's, room decor and amenities. Would not recommend or stay there again.

so close to Prime Outlets

It was a nice hotel but the entrance was really poor, it was hard to find and when you enter you have to go around a parking lot and then onto a side road. Just not the best location. There seemed to be quite the smokey smell on the second floor in the hallways. Overall it was ok.

my hotel stay

we called to say we would be later checking in. When we got there at 9:45 we had to wait 10 mins for someone so come and do the check in. The room was fine I thought the oicture was deceiving since it showed the sofa bed in another sleeping area. The breakfast was poor. All the bagels were stale and the were only hard boiled eggs available. When we checked out the pregant woman waved over her magazine.

Just okay.

Was very difficult to find!! Looked like it was just off the interstate, but there was no road - or at least looked like there wasn't at night. Cost a good bit more than other motels and wasn't impressed with what the extra money got us at this motel. Our bedding was ripped and didn't fit well on the bed. The breakfast was nothing special. Would rather pay $20 less for a motel room and go out to breakfast on our own.

A little strange

The hotel itself was fine with a descent contintental breakfast, clean room with high ceilings and plenty of space. What is very questionable about this hotel is the location. You have to take a "frontage road" to get to it though I am not sure this road appears on any map or GPS. You actually have to drive through a parking lot pick up the frontage road from the main street. The hotel is behind an abandoned bowling alley and the trees and grass are overgrown surrounding the area.

Entertainment tip: Short drive from hotel

Hollyood Casino is a short drive or a cheap cab ride to downtown Aurora.
