"It never got better"
Checking in took a long time. There were 2 employees, but they both were tending to someone else. We got to our room, it smelled like cigarette smoke and animal urine and it was so hot it was nauseating. We are in Illinois and all public places are supposed to be no smoking. Our next room was better, but the AC had to be set on 60 to get the room comfortable. I was a member of Wyndam rewards and I never received my paper and my bill was not placed under my door on check out day.

Better than expected
The interior of the hotel was nicer than expected. Rooms were clean. Staff was very nice. We had a room close to the pool, but didn't notice excess noise. The indoor pool was nice and had a large enough section at the end for my young kids. Overall, the hotel was great for kids. Breakfast options were limited, but for the price, I can't complain much.

"Great for EIU families
Rooms were roomy and very clean. Air conditioner started out great and then lost coolness as weekend progressed. Just opened and still have some remodeling to do. The continental breakfast was a joke. Over ripe bananas and poptarts. They claimed they had a hotel full of athletes and that's why the selections were poor. But Sundays didn't fare much better.
