Great Stay
I gave this 5 stars because it was perfect for what we needed it for. Obviosuly not a luxury hotel, but that's not what we were looking for on this trip. Needed close access to Carbondale, but didn't want to spend double the price to stay IN Carbondale. 1 min drive to quite a few restaurants, mall, & stores. Clean room. Bed was a little more firm than we like, but others may like that. Pool & hot tub were clean & perfect temps. Breakfast was just enough. Easy check-in & out. DVD player, fridge, & microwave in rooms were convenient. Would stay again.

The hotel was somewhat hard to find as it was behind some other businesses along the street. Accommodations were comfortable and the continental breakfast was better than many we have experienced. It was close to some of the popular restaurants. We would recommend this hotel.

JUST FINE
Got in at 10pm out at noon next day. For a one night only stay it was perfect location in between where I needed to be. No hassles and a clean room.

Comfortable and Homey
I was very happy with the room and service and i am ery sure that on my next visits to Marion i will always stay at the Holiday Express. The guy who checked me in was very helpful and made sure i had everything i needed. The room was very comfy and it felt like home.

My review of Holiday Inn Express MARION
The Holiday Inn Express was a good value for the money. It basically sits in the middle of a large parking lot but is close to restaurants, shopping, etc. The room had an unpleasant mildew odor from the air conditioner. Although the in-house fitness center didn't offer much they provided free visits to the local Gold's Gym. Clean and comfortable.

great place
This was a family reunion visit and at least 7 familes stayed there that weekend. We loved the place and will be back and recommend you to people. Everyone who worked was very friendly and accomadating. The free breakfast was very nice.

We needed stores to shop for gifts and they were all nearby.
