Great location to see soiuthern illnois
Room was very clean and comfortable. Pool area with hot tub was great clean very laid back atmosphere. The only complaint i have is that there breakfest doesnt have alot of things like most hotels have but they do have waffles.

There's alot of lakes and parks in the area if your into the outdoor's scene. Tons of places to eat i recommend going to Giant City Lodge and try there fried chicken its the best ive ever had.

Filthy Room
On Friday April 27th we had reservations at the Econo Lodge in Marion, Illinois. The room was horrible. The furniture was worn out and dirty. The toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a century. The room had a horrible odor. The pillows were flat and worn out. The sheets smelled like smoke and filth. The whole motel smelled dirty and looked it, the elevators were dark. The room air conditioning didn't work at all. I would never recommend this to anyone to stay.
