Perfectly relaxing stay
One of the best hotel stays I have ever experienced. The staff was extremely friendly and even offered us fresh cookies at check in. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was super comfy and the floor we stayed on was very quiet. The free breakfast was wonderful. I cannot think of a single negative with this hotel.

GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH CHURCH
church conference
we came for a church womens conference. we had to dress up and they allowed us to check in at 12:30 so it helped things start out well for us. the local paper came to do an article on the conference and it was in the paper the next morning. we read it while we enjoyed breakfast.

Perfect place to stay when visiting SIU
Perfect place to stay when visiting SIU University.Good selection for food near hotel. A solid 10 to 15 minutes to the university.Clean hotel very new 1 to two years old(check with hotel for exact time)Will stay again for upcoming events at SIU University.

A great experience!
The hotel had friendly staff, immaculate rooms that were well-appointed for a hotel in this price range. We didn't get a chance to use the pool or fitness room, but both were very clean and inviting. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful, served by a "southern grandma" whose goal was to make sure we all left full and satisfied. They even had food appropriate for someone on a diabetic diet. The no smoking policy was great!

Great Value
This hotel is easy to find, has a helpful staff, good breakfast and very clean, comfortable rooms. I can't comment on the pool, etc. since I didn't have time to use them. I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

PEAS AND CARROTS
JUST LIKE HOME
A great location off of interstate 57, and very easy to find! The staff was very friendly and helpful, also the room was very quiet and clean " just like Home" Thank You Country Inn staff GOD BLESS you.

Enjoyable stay
My son and I came down to Southern Illinois to check out some colleges so we needed a place for one night. I was very impressed with the hotel as I walked in, the staff were very nice and courteous and very helpful. The whole hotel was very clean as well as the room. It had a fridge which came in handy and it had a microwave. The bathroom was very nice also, no problems with the hot water in the morning. I was very impressed not only with the hotel but also for the price of the room. I have been to quite a few hotels and I am very critical especially since I had worked for a Staybridge Suites Hotel. The breakfast attendant was a sweet and friendly lady. The continental breakfast was very good and you can't beat the price especially now a days. This is a very well kept hotel and I felt very safe. There was plenty of places to eat/shop around the area. I also liked the fact it had internet in the room since I had brought my laptop with. I am a believer in reviews especially for something like this when you will be in a town that is unfamiliar to you. I had read reviews on every hotel that came up for the area and this was the only hotel that had good reviews and ratings which is why I chose this hotel. I was nervous not knowing how it would be but once i walked thru the front doors of the hotel, I had a good idea that it was a good choice. :)
