The innovation extends beyond the guestroom. Our Gallery is a warm and open area that features a self-registration kiosk, an intimate coffee and wine cafe, a TV den and an e-room with free access to a public computer and printer.
Hotel features 151 fully appointed rooms, meeting rooms with catering and audio visual avaialable, indoor heated pool, fitness center, complimentary continental Breakfast. Close to all I needed to see
Came into Chicago to see the downtown area. A short train ride later, and we were there. Excellent location.

Visiting from TN
Half the price and all the comfort
Hyatt Place was half the price of the nearby Marriott and just as comfortable. In fact this was a much larger room. Very clean and quiet. Staff was helpful. I did not take advantage of free Continental breakfast as it was not ready before i left in the morning. Bathroom was a little small and plain but signs indicated they were being upgraded. I would definitely go back.

Great hotel!
Very nice with all I needed. I like the setup and amenities of this hotel chain. However, the bathroom feels pretty small and dark, and also the closet pretty small and narrow. I selected a king size bed but got one with two queen beds. The hotel said they do not guarantee the room type through a third party reservation. Not that they appologized about it either.

The Best of the Bunch
Compared to any other hotel in its class, Hyatt Place is outstanding! The rooms are updated and CLEAN. (which is most important to me) The location is great ~ so close to dozens of good restaurants and shopping. If you read the reviews of other hotels in the area you would know that the staff at Hyatt Place is doing it right. There is no close 2nd! My only disappointment was not the faulft of the Hotel. Beware of 3rd party booking fine print... sometimes you may not get the room you want... King vs. 2 double bed. Overall you will receive a premium experience.

If you decide you want a fantastic breakfast with more exquisite options than you have ever seen, check out Eggstacy! BTW ~ the continental breakfast at the hotel is good... but it is only a continental breakfast.

Great for a weekend getaway
We were in town for the weekend and booked a room at the last moment, expecting nothing special. We couldn't have been more wrong! Our suite was roomy and comfortable, and we loved having the ability to connect our own video player to the large flat panel HDTV. Though we didn't take advantage of it, the ability to have made-to-order food 24/7 was a nice touch. On top of everything else, the hotel staff was invariably fantastic, whether we were asking about use of the microwave or reporting a minor problem. I hope to visit again soon!

Fantastic family getaway
We visited Chicago city and stayed in the hotel. The hotel was 30 minutes away from the downtown. We did not have a microwave and also wash-basin inside the bathroom. This is the best when compared to other hotels I stayed in other areas till now.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway
The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are magnificent. The rooms are spacious;I love the separate living room area, office space, bed, and wet bar; it has a homey feel. I love it. I had the perfect weekend getaway. The hotel meals were great as well. The location has a variety of dining areas, shopping and activities. Great location for the Chicago activities as well; it's about 25 minutes from the city without traffic.
