Back on the road, if you need some sleep

It's quiet, and the rooms themselves are clean and quiet, considering it's only a block from I-80. The shower is good, there is a good laundry, and the water is always hot.

North and across the street, is Bellagio's. HUGE portions, reasonable prices, and open late.

I was there for my mother's memorial. I had stayed there several years ago. With this last stay, I won't be going back. It was awful. The faceplate to the phone was gone. And there was a hole in the top sheet from a previous cigarett burn.

Stay for race

This was a very used hotel. Not for the people who have very high standards and needs in a hotel. The towels take the first layer of skin off with the ruffness and the sheets had holes in them. The room was so old that a bottle opener was built into the sink. I thought the carpet had a blood stain on it because that is what it looked like , but cant be sure. We got there late and left early. Would not really recommend to my relatives.

It was a nasty dump.

The sign said UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT AND NEWLY REMODLED. It looked as if it had not been cleaned in weeks. There was Stuff on the walls and the toliet had stains or other stuff in it. The carpet had stains in it that looked freash. I WOULD LET MY DOG STAY AT THIS MOTEL.

Are you kidding me?

Are you kidding me? You better be packing and I don't mean your bags! This has to be the scariest place I have ever been in my life. There were bullet holes in the window of our room, we checked in and within 15 min., we check out! Not a good area of town at all, if you want a good nights sleep; don't go here!

Possibly my worst stay ever

Even though we were not there very often, when we were there it was very disturbing, there were hardly any useful services available, the room was non-smoking but still smelled of smoke and had an ashtray inside which was very disgusting. It did have a laundry facility which was very helpful, but about the only good thing we encountered. The neighbors were very noisy, the staff was not helpful at all and the rooms were very small and did not contain much at all.

It is what it is

Stayed there for a race weekend when everything was crowded, which is probably better. I would imagine it would be a strange place on an off weekend. Things were fine until housekeeping left some wet cleaning towels on the counter by the sink. Kind of nasty. Otherwise, it is what you'd expect overall; fine, but nothing to write home about.

My review of Motel 6 Joliet - I-80

There were no towels or soap when I got to my room. The person who checked in two persons before me came to the front desk to report that there were no sheets on the beds. So when I got to my room I felt lucky to only be missing towels and soap.
