Comfort Inn South

There is an indoor pool, although one can take only 2 or 3 strokes before turning, so it is not so useful for swimming laps. The service in the breakfast room was very friendly and accommodating. You can make your own waffle in a waffle iron. Various types of yogurt and hard boiled eggs are available in a small fridge. One thing I found irritating was the small print on the page we signed when checking in that says you'll be charged for use of the safe in the room, and you must ask to have the charge removed when you check out, if you haven't used the safe. I suppose they are counting on a percentage of people forgetting.

Room wasnt ready at check in time. Under staffed, breakfast wasnt served until posted time. nothing done to help us.

the only thing that I like was the price. the rooms smell bad, they are not clean, and the bed looks like if were dirty. it needs a renovation its so small, and the location is bad

We were given a large room with king size bed and full size couch with pull out bed. The room was very spacious, clean and the halls smelled wonderful as we walked to our room. The mini fridge came in handy as cake was brought back and eaten the next morning. The safe and microwave were not used however. The pool was always filled with children and we never had time to use it anyway. The staff was fine- nothing great, nothing bad. Over all geat place for a low price. Only 8 minutes from the hollywood casino.

We were going to a wedding nearby...The room was adequate and the service was great..Everyone was very helpful...

We stayed the night traveling to Chicago for a funeral. Comfort Inn is always nice.

I went to Joliet for a funeral and all the staff seemed to know; they were very attentive to me. Small but sufficient breakfast bar was appreciated. Across parking lot from Steak and Shake and Taco Bell.

This hotel is close to the freeway, near restaurants, clean, what you'd expect from a Comfort Inn. The shower was hot, the bed was ok, but a little lumpy. Although we made pet reservations, they didn't know we had a pet. But they accommodated him.

We stayed during a Nascar Race. Very close to the track. Rooms were very clean and everyone was very helpful and friendly. Would defintely stay again.

The Joliet Comfort Inn South was comfortable. They gladly up-graded me to a suite. It was a little hard to find, even with my Garmin. It sets perpendicular to the road and depending on the direction of your approach, their sign is partly hidden by other signs. It is on a very busy street in but because of its orientation it wasn't noisy. There are lots of food places nearby. I just needed a decent place to spend the night that wasn't too expensive and it met those requirements nicely. The front desk employees were nice too.
