Hyatt Place Chicago/Hoffman Estates

Great hotel for your money. The people are very nice and the rooms are very clean, comfortable and very "Hip".

We usually stay at a vacation home because we've had too many bad hotel experiences. Since we only stayed for a weekend, we decided to give hotels another try. We are so glad we did! This was the cleanest and friendliest hotel I've ever been to; not to mention how great it smelled. The FULL continental breakfast was AWESOME!

Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and breakfast was filling and perfect! Our only complaint which was the fact that you can hear ever person's conversation through the hall way walls. We were woke up at 12:30 at night to loud guest talking in the halls, thankfully it only lasted for 15 minutes then they went to bed. Other than that our stay was great!

I was very happy with this hotel. Everything was perfect. The room was beautiful and the breakfast was more than I taught it would be. For the price I paid it went far beyond.

The hotel has been remodeled. We had a king non smoking. Loved the 42" TV and seperate areas for watching! Would always stay here if in the area

This was our second stay at a Hyatt Place hotel. The rooms are spacious which makes it perfect for a family. The pool was warm and staff very friendly. The last Hyatt Place we stayed at had a hot breakfast, whereas this one had toast, donuts, and a few other traditional continental breakfast items, which was disappointing. Still one of our favorite places to stay.

all things are very good except one. i reserved double bed, but hotel made king bed room. but the sofa was to replace for extra bed for children. breakfast was good for us. i became a customer for the hotel.

Stayed at the Hyatt while we were in the city to see a concert and enjoy some shopping. Came back to the hotel to enjoy a swim and hotel pizza. Enjoyed our stay and food.

We chose this hotel because it was strategically located for all the relatives we were planning to visit. In general, it was a good value. The price averaged only about $80 a night, the hotel was clean and modern, the rooms are a nice size and include a separate living room area and you can get basic food--nothing special but great if you don't want to venture out into the cold--at the snack bar in the lobby at any time. Our main complaint was that the hotel was loud. We had a room right off the elevator, with a tile floor outside the door. Even people who tried to be quiet getting on and off the elevator (and many did not) made enough noise to wake us up. On our third night, a wedding party came into town and we were literally up all night. We called security, who suggested that we had threatened the partiers and strongly urged us not to call the police if things didn't get quiet. On the positive side, when we talked to the manager the next day, he was apologetic, moved us to a room far away from the wedding party and refunded us the equivalent of one night's stay. I still think they should have kicked these people out of the hotel and that the rude security guard who blamed the guests for noise problems should be fired. Other positives: free wifi, 47-inch plasma TV Negatives: no convenience store, no whirlpool in the pool area.

Large, clean & comfortable room. Good bed & pillows. Nice couch & kitchen area. Great pool, better than average continental breakfast. Location could not have been better with family in Cary, Schaumburg and Batavia plus friends as far away as Harvard, IL., travel was easy and quick to all locations. Staff was friendly and efficient, price was good, all in all a truly enjoyable experience.
