KeyLime Cove Resort Waterpark

Nice place! If I had to do it over again I would get there early in the day and pay the extra $59 for early swim and stay one night instead of two. If you want a message the day you are going be there sure to reserve ahead of time. The kids activities were fun. I took my 8 year old granddaughter and had a great time. They say there are two Queen beds in the room. They were very small queen beds. There is no business center at the hotel so no access to a printer if you need one. The park was great and they have a very nice variety of other activities available when they are tired from swimming. There is a large Gurnee Mills shopping mall nearby and a CrackerBarrel if you want a home cooked breakfast. I would go back.

I normally dont write too many reviews but this is actually a lovely hotel! My family and I stayed for a few days earlier on in the week and it wasn't crowded at all towards the end it definitely started getting busy. Our room was perfect, everything that we needed was there. I'm sad though once we left the waterpark and came back to shower the water wasn't extremely hot but after my boyfriend took a shower about a hour later it was fine. Checking in and out is easy and simple the staff is very welcoming and helpful. There are nice restaurants inside of the hotel and not too far away from it are restaurants as well and Gurnee Mills Mall. We will be back. Thanks!

This hotel was very nice. I would definetly go there again. We live in Chicago and it beats a 4 hours drive to Wisconsin Dells.

This is our second time at Key Lime Cove. We first went in the 2010 winter break, and my kids loved it. The place remains relatively unchanged, and my family had a great time in the water park. There is really nothing to complain about given the resort is in a convenient location. Even though the check in time is listed as 4pm, we were able to check in at 1pm. Staff was courteous, and the room was clean.

Great experience. The rooms are clean and the resort/waterpark was maintained very nicely. The staff was helpful. Clean, spacious rooms and kids had a great time at the resort. Ideal for families looking for a short vacation.

What a blast! This place is so much fun for the whole family. We had a great time in the waterpark, hanging out in the kids area making snacks with the staff, coloring and playing games and walking the boardwalk area. My toddler had such fun everywhere we turned. He even got to make his own stuffed panda bear which was fun for mom too! The waterpark had things to do for all ages, even the little ones. And the lifeguards were top notch which made me and my family all feel safe to have fun. The food was great and perfect for both kids and adults. We are already excited about our return trip. You will forget where you are at during your stay because you really feel like you're in the Keys!

Well run clean hotel, with good amenities. Most of the eating places were closed when I went late August, and food was average but well priced.

Very fun, water park was a good time. The pool area should be open 24hours though, too many kids and crowded.

We stayed at Key Lime Cove for my daughter's 10th birthday. The kids loved it. The hotel room was clean and nicely decorated. There are enough life guards to let your older kids loose to play on their own at the waterpark. The game room/casino was lots of fun but fairly expensive. I only let the kids have $20 worth of tokens to share across 3 of them. It kept them busy for about 30 minutes. The only real problem that we had was the food. None of it was very good and it was extremely expensive.
