Temp stay while relocating
My family and I needed a room for 2 days while we were relocating from CT, and we needed a place that was pet friendly. The Comfort Inn provided a nice clean room, with a pool and hot tub (which the kids loved) and they allowed our cat to remain in the room while we were out (for closing on the new house). It fit our needs perfectly for a reasonable price.

Steak and Shake restaurant is right next door to the hotel; there are several other dining options (Lone Star Steak House, Red Lobster, and a host of other places to eat in Gurnee Mills mall) within walking distance.

Comfor Inn Gurnee
My stay at the Comfort Inn was nice. The pool was never overcrowded and the breakfast was good. The room I booked(112) was right across from the Pool. Breakfast includes eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt, bagels, donuts, danishes, coffee, oatmeal, and much more! Very good for the amount paid.

RUDE STAFF
My family and I would have enjoyed our stay better at the hotel if the staff was more friendly!From the time I walked in the lady at the front desk acted weird and she was rude.I left my toothpaste and she gave a small courtesy toothpaste was enough to only brush my teeth for 1 time..I brush 3 times a day and there were 4 of us. continental Breakfast was ok but the products were cheap!The pool was super fun and the jacuzzi was filthy.They should enforce showers before getting in the pool/jacuzzi! Last maybe if they put just a lil less chlorine in the pool it would be ok.

Get in the pool at 6am when its first cleaned.Also...if you wanna be alone,get in the pool/jacuzzi at 9pm they close at 11pm.

Easy to find, great staff, nice place
Shopping at Gurnee Mills Mall is easy because you are right next to it. The pool and hot tub stayed open until 11. There were no towels for the pool/hot tub area so we needed to use our room towels. Breakfast area is nice with a good selection of foods to choose from

Late night
Horrible Motel
The bed was clean. We got in very late at night. Asked for a late check out, someone came to our room next morning and asked if we were checking out. The smell was horrible in our room. Motel was run down. The only reason we stayed is because we were told we could not get our money back and it was around 2:30 AM when we checked in.

we went to the pool Thursday night with the kids. Had a lot of fun.Then on Friday morning we had the free breakfast.We all went up to the room and then are twin 12yr old boys went to the pool while we got stuff together.The boys came up about 15min. later say some guy said they could not be there with out a parent.WE READ THE RULES the night before on the pool wall,and it said ANYONE UNDER 12 MUST HAVE A PARENT!So seeing are boys CAN SWIM AND THEY ARE 12YRS OLD we said they could go.When they came back my husband went down to see what the problem was.THE MANAGE IS WHO TOLD THEM THEY COULD NOT SWIM.SO MY HUSBAND WENT TO THE MANAGER AND ARE BOYS CAN SWIM.THEN THE MANAGER CUT HIM OFF AND SAID I DON'T CARE IF THEY ARE 5YRS OLD AND CAN SWIM THEY NEED A PARENT.MY HUSBAND WELL THATS NOT WHAT YOUR SIGN SAID IN THE POOL!!!! THE MANAGER HAD TO GO LOOK AT THE SIGN TO SEE WE!!! WERE RIGHT. Is that NOT some thing being the MANAGER that he should already know!!!!! Very RUDE manager!!!
