Suburban style near shopping, businesses
This suburban hotel offers guests a mid-range, all-suite option near O'Hare International Airport. Wyndham Glenview Suites draws its share of business travelers who appreciate the proximity to companies like Kraft, AON, Caremark and ABT Electronics and a manageable 20-minute drive to Chicago. Close to the suites are family-friendly attractions like the Kohl Children's Museum and Westfield Old Orchard shopping mall. Red- and gold-colored rooms are comfortable, inviting and offer free Wi-Fi.

I was pleasantly surprise
I don't understand what other negative comments are all about. Of course, we were leery about those negative comments. But boy were we pleasantly surprised. The hotel was very clean, beds were comfortable and huge with 2 TV's, one in the sitting room. Where would you get those amenities nowadays. Overall a very good value. Probably if one gets the room across the tollway, it may be too noisy. However I requested a room facing the parking lot and it was fine.

I was living in the North suburbs of Chicago for 29 years until we relocated to SoCal. so I was very familiar with restaurants in and around the hotel.

Great Getaway!
Wonderful staff, pretty hotel, nice pool area. Room/bed was very comfortable. Baths could use updating but overall had a great time. Would definitely stay again.

Eat at Viccino's in Glenbrook or Glenview. Coupons are in the Wyndham coupon book at the hotel. Great Italian food.

nice but needs help
friendly staff, clean, spacious rooms. however rooms are overdue for rehab. bathroom shower is very small as is the bathroom. heating/ac is very noisy. thermostats don't seem to work. cheap delaminated wood materials such as doors need to be replaced.

excellent hotel!
While this hotel is a bit off the beaten path - you would need to have a car to get in and out of the city - the suite was beautiful and large. As long as you don't mind a half hour or more drive into the city, this would be a great option.

Great staff - average hotel
We stayed at the Glenview Wyndham Suites Glenview for four nights, spending time in downtown Chicago. The best feature of this hotel is the staff. From shuttle service staff to servers in the atrium, we enjoyed their friendly service. The rooms, however, are a bit outdated and the air conditioning wasn't working properly. The pool was nice and cool two days, but for some unknown reason was heated up and too warm later. The hottub was luke warm. Pricing for breakfast much too high. Would we stay there again? Not likely.

Take the Metra to downtown Chicago Union Station. If you have more than two people in your group, take a taxi to the various attractions - is about the same as paying for a bus ride, but much more convenient. Water taxi/river taxi was worth it!

BAD BAD SERVCE ALL THE WAY !!!
[...] GOT DIRTIEST ROOM IN HOTEL...NO SHAMPOO, NO SOAP ,LOOK LIKE THERE IS NOTHING IN THE BATHROOM...NEXT DAY WOKE UP WITH BED BUG BITE ON MY BACK...SO NOISY ON OUT SIDE OF ROOM... THEY SET UP BREAKFAST TABLE RIGHT OUT SIDE OF THE ROOM...NEVER WANT TO STAY IN THAT HOTEL

fantastic, excellent customer service,
Was too far from Chicago but hotel provided transportation to and from the train for free. Made me and my daughter feel special as guests, all of the staff were really nice and attentive.

Ok for the price
Staff at the hotel was very nice and proffessional. the building is a bit on the older side but everything worked well and looked maintained. I didn't like the smell of cigarrete smoke but some air freshner did the trick.

Great bed!
We stayed here for one night to get A good nights sleep before a 20 hour drive. The bed was very comfortable and I felt well rested!!

Wonderful experience and price
My son and I had a wonderful time and enjoyed the hotel tremendously. There was plenty of space in the rooms. The 2nd tv was very nice to have for my Grandson. The atrium is absolutly beautiful and the staff was great and helpful. The nearby parks and sportsfields were an added blessing. Overall, we loved it.
