Great area and great hotel!

I was really happy with this hotel! I was a bit worried about the area seeming it was east of St. Louis and have heard bad things. I was very impressed with the city itself and felt safe! The area is full of shopping centers and a lot of options for dinner. The hotel room was clean and had a fridge (huge bonus!) The staff was friendly and the continential breakfast was better than I expected. They had bagels, cereal, waffles, donuts and beverages. I thought it was going to be more basic than that! My only complaint was the parking. We got back to the hotel late and the parking lot was full because of the adjoined comedy club and Friday's. I'm young and can walk so it was not a deal breaker for me! I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to go shopping and/or to avoid paying $150+ to stay in St. Louis!

The hotel was pretty decent. I enjoyed myself dearly and the beds were amazingly comfortable. I got plenty of rest for the busy day ahead.

Good deal for the price

Comedy club friday and saturday makes parking hard and can get loud. There was no refrigerator or microwave in the room, nor did they offer you one when checking in. Breakfast was good, fresh and stocked well. Bed was great. Internet was free but only 12 mps speed max. Exercise room could use a water dispensor had cups but no dispensor or water fountain and could also use some weights for use. Towels in the pool area were not restock often enough but pool smelled like it was maintained.

Great time

Stayed there while on my way to a new job in Kansas City. Nice, clean room. They made sure that I had a room on the first floor with the sliding glass door since I had a dog traveling with me. Very friendly.

Girls weekend

This was an annual weekend getaway for the girls. We had a great time! We took the metrolink to downtown St Louis both Saturday and Sunday. We intended to use the pool(s) but we were too busy with other things. Cons-Breakfast was disappointing- tables dirty, food not sufficiently stocked;all three mornings and having three women trying to "get ready" in one room was challenging with two outlets but achieved nonetheless. Housekeeping staff was great and the front desk was very friendly. TGIF's (hotel restaurant)was great too!

you definitely need a car; the mall is on the other side of the highway I do not recommend walking this. No shuttle service that we are aware of, we had a car. Its close to Scott AFB and close to the metrolink to go downtown or to any of the sports fields or arenas.

Run down Ramada

Stayed at this Ramada as a stop-over on a long drive. Just my 6 year old and myself. The location was nice. Right off the freeway and next to several restaurants. The entire hotel however was pretty rundown. It was in desperate need of updates and cosmetic repairs. For example...peeling, cracking paint; chipped tile; outlets in rooms not secure in the wall; musty smell throughout the hotel; air conditioner was loud. It was a bit dark and dreary. The staff was pretty nice and helpful but the complimentary breakfast was sad and not appetizing at all. We ended up going across the street to the Bob Evans. This hotel also has a TGI Fridays and a comedy club attached which made me a little nervous because I got in a little late and was worried about people being in and out of the hotel who weren't guests of the hotel.

nice location for the price

My wife and I came here for a few days of shopping. The staff was very friendly. Room was clean and the continental breakfast was very good. The hotel was located near many good shopping areas so we didnt have to travel far at all. We definatey will be staying here again.
