Bad sheets, pillowcases and spread
I would not recommend this hotel until they get new bedding. All the bedding was of very poor quality. I asked for new sheets because they were so nubby but the replacement sheets were just as uncomfortable. The spread was just as bad as the sheets. Totally overwashed and overused. The desk staff could do nothing for me other than to apologize and offer me a free breakfast.

The way a hotel SHOULD be run!
We visit this area frequently, but this was our first stay at this hotel. It definitely won't be out last! The staff was incredible! It was storming our first night, so we ordered room service, and the food was DEVINE! We felt like part of a big happy family during our entire stay.

The hotel restaurant is small and cozy, but don't let that fool you! The chef from the attached conference center prepares the meals, and it was all wonderful!

Nice Hotel
The hotel was nice and the room was clean and spacious. Very comfortable beds. When we checked in there was a line and the receptionist was taking phone calls as well as trying to check customers in. The family before us took an extremely long time to get checked in (at least 7 - 10 min AFTER we were standing in line) then others started lining up behind us. Our room was a pre-paid room for 4 people, they had us in a king room originally and she was able to change it fortunately. I had 13 different reservations in different cities for this long trip we had planned and this check-in took the longest. It wasn't a simple process as were all the others. Hotel was nice but my review would be much better had the staff been more efficient.

Nice facility for the price. Room showed some use but was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was somewaht dated with loose fixtures.

Long walk from hotel
Close to interstae with out the noise of traffic. Multiple chain restuarants close by with standard fare. Good in house food options as well.

Wonderful Visit
The hotel had great access to STL without having to deal with the city traffic all the time. 15 minutes from down town and less than 30 minutes to North or South St Louis.

stayed for vacation
We were celebrating my son's b-day while staying in this hotel. The Fairview Heights area is great. Lots of places to eat and this hotel is next to the mall. Although the hotel was nice, the only problem I had was that I ended up getting charged for my stay when I had already paid through Orbitz. I am not sure whose fault this was, Orbitz or the hotels, but I had to call the hotel after noticing this charge on my account a couple days after our stay. It took a week for the charge to be taken off my account, which was very frustrating!!! We spent a lot of money on our vacation and was very lucky that my account did not overdraft due to this 'surprise' charge!
