Would stay again

It was our understanding that the hotel was recently renovated and it looked fairly decent. The pool left a lot to be desired but we were in town for a Cardinals game so it didn't matter much to us. The staff was very nice. Given the fair price we paid via orbitz.com, we would stay here again.

Not bad

Not bad for the price. Very close to St. Clair Mall. We went for a Cardinals game and rode the Red Bird express from the mall. Very convenient place for the hotel. Not the best breakfast. Super friendly staff. Rooms had new beds that were really comfy.

Wedding guests

In the area for a wedding. Hotel staff was accommodating - we needed a razor, a new iron (the one we had leaked), they delivered the bride and groom's gift basket, and were very nice. Room and breakfast were typical Best Western. But the beds were new and comfy and the pillows were great.

Works fine when needed

Everything was fine except I thought the furniture was the cheapest and sometimes the most uncomfortable I'd ever experienced. There was a love seat in the rooms with queen size beds that never should have been built.

Outstanding value!

We've been here three times in the last six months, visiting family. Service is consistently top-notch, rooms are extremely clean, modern facilities, the staff is extremely efficient, it has a good breakfast bar (kids love the waffle maker) and pool, and the price literally can't be beat. Highly recommended to anyone, especially to families.

Pretty good for the price

I was very pleased with my stay at the Best Western. Check-In was a breeze, they had put us in a smoking room and we asked if there was anything non-smoking available. They upgraded us from a queen sized bed to a king sized for no extra charge since that was the only non-smoking available. Very quick, friendly service! The room was well maintained. It wasn't anything too fancy, but I definitely felt comfortable. The bed was fairly comfortable, there were lots of TV stations. The bathroom seemed newly remodeled and was very nice. No problems with cleanliness or lack of amenities (i.e. no missing towels, ice buckets, etc.) We went out and explored a while, there is lots of shopping available in the immediate area and in the neighboring town of O'Fallon. There is also a Wal-Mart in case you forgot anything at home! The only bad part of the stay was that we missed the continental breakfast, but that was completely our fault because we thought it ended at 11 (we confused the sign with pool hours with the sign for continental breakfast hours, oops!) instead of at 9.
