La Quinta Inn Chicago O Hare Airport

first when we got there ,the front desk guy wrote a wrong room number ,and we was trying to open the door and it didnt open and the guy inside the room opened and almost got in a fight with us , second we told the lady we need a wake up call at 3.30 am and she wrote it down ,but no body call us .so we almost missed the shuttle bus third ,the shuttle bus driver tried to get money from us in order to drop us off at the terminal ,when he did to everybody but when it came to us he wanted money ,just because we had a piece of luggage in the back of the van

At check in, they did not have a record of my [...]reservation - luckily I had a copy, though the "Res code" was not one they use, apparently.I need a firm bed, for my back, and the bed in this room was very soft.Walls were thin - especially on the hall side, so lots of noise. Under the flight pattern for the north runway at O'Hare - so lots of airplane noise as well.Room and bathroom were clean, though the lobby and entrance area were a bit frayed. Simple breakfast was nice, with make-your-own waffles as an option.The shuttles to/from O'Hare were running a bit late, so this caused some stress.I needed to ask for a razor, as I had left mine home. The razor they gave me was so rough my face bled in 3 places. I will know better, next time!OK for the money, however - not much choice as the city hotels were full.

friendly, helpful staff. nice continental breakfast. clean rooms. swimming pool. very good value. for the activities that I planned, it is in a good location. I would use this hotel again if I were going to stay in this area.

La Quinta gave me perfect directions from the airport. The room was beautiful and clean. All personnel were courteous and helpful. Loved the complimentary continental breakfast every morning. Greatly appreciated the free internet wifi. This is what I usually experience at La Quinta Inns. [...]

The small things was the entry door (from outside of facility to inside the hotel) had problems with letting customers enter and the employee at the front desk told me this fact. So, this should have been corrected. The Next is a HUGE problem for me, the heat is controlled by the office or manager but not in Individual room and we were cold all night... the Hallways of the hotel were warmer than the rooms.

The stay was fine. The shuttle service to / from O'Hare wasn't always timely but I did make my scheduled times. I'm glad they have the O'Hare shuttle service. The staff at the hotel is very pleasant. The room was clean and well taken care of.

its close to the airport and has a shuttle . so no problem with transportation... GREAT PEOPLE. clean and nice

There were two of us and the bathroom only had one small shower towel, we had to call for more. The bed was suppose to be a king. I have a king at home and the hotel bed was surely a queen. I could hear people from the hallway, at other hotels I believ the sound proofing was better. Though those are my only real complaints, just annoying little set backs. I must say the room was very clean and the bathroom was pristine upon arrival and everyday when we came back to our rooom. So I would say over all it was a good stay worse things could of happened. The staff was friendly and the rooms were well taken care of, those are the more important thing to us anyway. Oh and I love the fact that my dog could come along for free! We were worried that the room would be in less than perfect condition since we were bringing a dog. You know they may give you a bad room in anticipation the dog would mess it up. We were very pleased that the room was absolutely prisine, can't say it enough! So our dog enjoyed the comfortable clean room as well.

Be careful if you need a transportation to get to the airport after your stay. There is no formal written schedule in a professional way and their 4-5 receptionists could give you totally different answers about when & how you can use their shuttle service. I ended up with taking a cab and paying for it by myself and was treated 'poorly' by a female staff over there. It was the worst hotel's customer experience ever! The side door lock was also broken so guests had to get back to the hotel from the front only for both of my two nights stay.

We came for a "City Fix" we called. Shopping and Dime Sum. We had a great time. We only used the hotel to sleep and having breakfast. It was working well for us. The outside doors didn't open with our cards, that's was a bummer, but overal the stay was good for us.
