Baymont Inn And Suites OHare/Elk Grove Village

I was despointed at the overall experience of my three days stay. Compared to other Baymont Inn, its missing someting, still a good deal but can't pinpoint my desapointment.

Really nice people working at this place. The hotel itself however is older and in need of a complete remodel. I stayed one night only as it was convenient to airport and very inexpensive and included free shuttle to airport.

As a frequent business traveller, I rolled the dice on this Baymont Inn to save money on a 20-hour stay and a short night's sleep. I cannot -- with a clear conscience -- recommend anyone else do so. First, the free shuttle service to O'Hare is frustrating (the drivers didn't adhere to posted half-hourly schedules as evidenced when one driver left 4 minutes before my scheduled 3 p.m. pickup and refused to come back to get me when called by the front desk) and harrowing (two of my drivers drove like they were on a speedway). The shuttle van was dirty on the outside and its carpet was utterly filthy on the inside. Second, the room was like a cell. A small TV, rock-hard bed, a tiny bathroom and styrofoam drinking cups pretty much tells the story. There is a free breakfast but it was just some cereal and a few budget accompaniments (i.e., packaged muffins). Not all was bad, however. One of the three desk clerks was superb and the housekeepers were all very cordial. But combine all the above with the fact that you have to use the shuttle to get back to O'Hare to catch the train into the city, it simply isn't worth justifying the sub-par accomodations with the low price,

This has been my first choice for weekends in Chicago. A basic value option. Comfortable beds, clean (although small) bathrooms, reliable free internet and TV, very friendly and accommodating staff, and a shuttle to the airport every half-hour that I have NEVER been late on. For a quick bite, walk to the BK, or the Corner House Bar and Grill. Small flat-screen TV's would be nice, but I suspect the 26" analogs are leaving before long. Highly recommended. Book early.

This hotel is not the Ritz, but it was very clean, a helpful staff, a great breakfast for free, and convenient transportation to and from O'Hare. Both times I stayed there, people were calling for reservations and the hotel was full. One drawback is the lacking of dining choices nearby, but for an overnight or two, not a huge a problem.

I booked this hotel on-line when my son's flight was cancelled and he needed a last minute place to stay. A shuttle picked him up from the airport and returned him the next day. The reservations were easy although that was the on-line website's doing. My son said the hotel was decent and clean. You did apparently have to make reservations to ride the shuttle back to the airport and with his room being booked so late, the shuttle was full that he needed to get back to the airport in time for his flight. Fortunately, one person didn't show up and he got on.

It's not as good as i expect, but not bad. I visited Chicago for 2 days, so choosed this inn on-line.

We stayed one night at the beginning of our trip. Parked our car safely at the hotel while we were gone for three weeks out of country. The shuttle took us to the airport and picked us up in good time. We stayed one night at the end of our trip and was extremely satisfied with the experience. Would recommend this place to family and friends.
