Not as expected
Outdoor facade under renovation, scaffolding all over. Latino workers drinking beers and playing loud music from truck at 11p at back of hotel. Corona bottles littering lot, workers peeing in bushes then stumbling toward the back door calling it a night. Musty smell in room. Stained hall carpet, dripping faucet in tub and hair clump in tub greeted us. Microwave, fridge, coffee pot as promised. Conveniently located, many services nearby. Not the same high level of quality experienced at other Super 8 locations.

Great Eight!!!
Stayed here while attending a wedding in Effingham. This Super 8 had everything in the room... even a safe!

wasn't what I expected
there were bare wires hanging from the ceiling, and the heater was making the painting above the bed vibrate all night, and was very hard to sleep. There were also holes, and stains on the recliner in the room. Won't be staying there another night. And the staff could have presented themselves a little more appropriate. The receptionist had piercings all over her face, and was even making comments about having surgery to get one removed.....come on!

Great stay!
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was conveniently located and very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And despite having a problem loading the key cards(maybe equipment needs replaced)the clerk was smiling and persistent. Would definitely recommend friends to stay there and we will again when in the area.

Great value / clean!
