Awful
Location was the only thing good about this visit. My husband and I are in a semi 24/7 and I wanted a break so i went online and got this room. First thing TV wasn't clear and all channels were kinda fuzzy. No biggy can live with that. Then I want a nice hot bath to soak and relax. Nope not going to happen no hot water. Ok well it says there's a pool and hot tub. Nope~ pool ice cold (indoor pool) and so is the hot tub. Went to tell front desk-oh it's broke. No one mentioned this when we checked in. So i told her about our room and the LACK of hot water. We will get you a different room. They did and it looked nicer and she says i checked and it has hot water. She was right it did BUT NO PRESSURE. I gave up waited for the tub to fill took my bath then my husband did the same thing and then we went to sleep in the awful bed that didn't even have a fitted sheet-just a top sheet thrown on it. Totally awful exerience even the breakfast was awful. I thinkk from now on unless I have over $100 extra for a room I'll just stay in the truck and wait till we get home to relax!

Very Dirty, Pool/Sauna NOT cleaned in weeks!
Although the beds and bathroom were clean, the rest was very dirty. After being there only a few hours, our feet were black from the dirty carpets. (I took pictures!) Swam the night before, the next morning in the sunlight we noticed the pool water was cloudy green, and the hot-tub brown. The desk person admitted that the maintenance person had quit 3 weeks earlier, and they didn't know how to maintain the pool. I was worried about catching diseases from it! If all was clean, it would have been a great value, but Eww it was gross!

Ehhh
it was ok. Like a super 8. Pool heater out & hot tub was like one you would have at your house.not inviting. It was clean. Breakfast was biscuits & gravy,danish.& corn flakes/raisin bran.

Short Stay
Great Location, lots of food in area. Had problems with A/C and bed was hard and noisy. Staff was not too friendly and the breakfast was lacking and very skimpy.

TheFair but i habve had better
We just stayed over the night but still would have liked it to be clean so my family (grandaughter could have enjoyed the spa more. There were not enough towels in the room or soap or shampoo things of that nature. I have stayed in a whole lot better places in Effingham in the past.

Suited our needs.
My husband and I went to his aunts funeral. The pool was very small and the heater in the pool did not work. The wall heater was extremely noisy.

It was OK. The bathroom was clean and the place seemed like management is attempting to keep a respectful hotel here.
