Chicago Marriott Suites Downers Grove

Great room for the value. Really nice suite set up, only furniture was little bit old. Nice spacious gym with pool and jacuzzi. Charge for internet was a big minus.

This place was in a very convenient area of town. Anything you needed or wanted was basically within 5 mins of the hotel. The rooms were clean and very in order. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I can't say enough good things about Lucy, she assisted with all the other freinds and family that stayed at the hotel to whatever they needed. She also helped me out with an issue that I had after I had already returned back to Los Angeles. Once again it was a pleasure staying here and I would refer anyone to stay in that specific hotel.

It wasn't worth the money! The cost was high for the quality of the room. It was dirty and smelled like stale smoke. It hadn't really been cleaned since the previous people. The sofa sleeper still had the old sheets also. I had to call and ask for fresh sheets so the kids could sleep. The other main issue was the cost, everything was extra including internet access. $15 a day unless you wanted to sit in the lobby. There were only a few available seats to use your computer and they were taken every time I went down. I don't think I would return or recommend to anyone.

We came here to get away for the weekend. My 11 year old wanted to swim and watch in room movies. The movies were the most expensive I've seen at a hotel so far; $12-15 a film. There were kid shows for my 3 year old, but they cost $3 for a 29 minute show. My son did enjoy the swimming pool very much. The pool is indoor and outdoor connected. It is nice. The jacuzzi was not working well; it was lukewarm. The staff kept trying to get it to work without success. Also a lot of visiting children kept jumping into it so us adults couldn't really enjoy it the way we wanted to.I found the room to be smaller than I expected for a suite, but it was still nice.I very much enjoyed the hotels restaurant food. [...] gave a me a deal so our breakfast meals were all free and the meals for my children were free during lunch and dinner. The staff was very, very nice and the bed was very soft and comfortable. Overall I'd recommend it.

I had an allergic reaction to the down feather pillows, comforter & mattress pad. Would of thought w/ so many different allergies, they would advise people or have used down alternative.

Since my parents moved from the Chicago area, we return often to visit family and friends, primarily in the western suburbs. The suite accommodations are perfect for travel with my elderly father and (on previous occasions) extended family including adult children. This is also a perfect location, with easy access travel O'Hare and Chicago neighborhoods and suburbs via major interstates. Shopping and restaurants are nearby but little within walking distance. Orbitz offered an excellent package deal.

An excellent stay for a well deserved 20th wedding anniversary weekend.

the hotel was very peacful and quiet with a great pool. the managment where very friendly also.

It was very relaxing and it was quiet. The rooms were bright and the decor was soothing. I enjoyed the suite atmosphere and how the bedroom was separate from the sitting area.
